  Massive Destruction of Judicial Files Ordered by By Servce Department?

  over on the silentlambs facebook site is a copy of a document that purports to be an order by the service depart to destroy files relating to child molestation cases: https://www.facebook.com/silentlambs/photos/a.571978169529812.1073741826.144752662252367/970409503020008/?type=3&theater.

  have any of you seen this?

  is this a real document or bogus?.

  Have you seen the thread about the campaign started by Katie Kitten / Louise Goode which talks about this destruction of documents and how to stop this from happening . The thought seems to be that documents that Justice Goddard wants keeping MAY be destroyed in light of the events in Wales and Australia Jan .

  As I have stated elsewhere this is a far more productive and pertinent effort than spinning the yearly admin letter sent to BOEs as some kind of systematic cover up of child abuse. There are plenty of concerns about the actual processes employed without having to make things up.

  i am not a jehovah's witness, never have been.

  i am a former christian (mostly baptist background) and have been an atheist since 1999. .

  my question is this - are there any books (not official watch tower publications) published by any jw's?

  Tony (Antony) Byatt was a Witness from Worcestershire (UK) who wrote at least one apologist publication. He also ran a small mail order service for Witness friendly books. He died some time ago but was an intelligent, educated and scholarly person. He contributed regularly to the publications in the 70s and 80s.

  We're Ashya Kings parents right?

  do you remember the case?

  jehovers witness parents did a runner without telling the medical staff caring for their seriously ill child and took him to receive proton therapy in praque as this treatment was not available in the u.k.. first most importantly the good news, the boy was declared cancer free last march.. anyway i am sure at the time this issue would have created a lot of heated debate on the forum, as it was a case that created a media frenzy, with the parents and their jehovers witness religious beliefs being heavily critizised .

  however as i followed the case i couldn't help but admire the parents, as i felt they would have acted indepentedly of both the jehovers witness organisation and the u.k medical advice, having in my opinion seriously thought the matter through, and then doing they thought was the best way for treatment.. so if you remember the case my questions are:-.

  which ever country you come from, if you are a football fan you know of the f.a cup.

  because the f.a cup is the oldest and most prestigious cup competition in the world.

  or at least that's the way it was when i was a kid.. now this wonderful competition has been cheapened to a non event.

  The Beeb have done some great coverage this season of the non league teams being shown live look at Salford City FC's run having 2 matches televised live to the nation, that would never have happened even a few years ago!

  Hence why the magic of rounds 3-5 remains for me. The Beeb and BTSport have done a good job there.

  The final sells out because everyone loves a trip to Wembley to support their team.

  Wenger's job has been saved as much by his ability to achieve CL qualification season after season thus securing wads of cash IMHO.

  I still love the FA cup but no one can deny that managers regularly belie their words of support for the FA cup with their actions of fielding the B team. There is no longer the culpable magic there once was. Yes, if you are a fan and your team is progressing it's great but the whole country stopped come the end of May, the final was on both BBC & ITV and now it's a sideshow thanks to there being so much else to occupy people.

  Public opinion was tainted by some reports implying a link with the Kings being Witnesses. This quickly changed when the story changed to it being about the persecution of parents just trying to do the right thing.

  The medical staff were demonised which clouded rational discussion of the facts.

  This of course also makes a mockery of Jackson's plea to the ARC to take the responsibility off the organisation and enforce mandatory reporting. Where they have it they then argue they have ecclesiastical privilege....
