but sometimes it is difficult to know if you are "talking" to a man or a woman (or homosexual).

But sometimes it is difficult to know if you are "talking" to a man or a woman (or homosexual).
OK, right away, I hear protests of "what the heck does it matter?"
Well, I just think it would be interesting and would help clear things up a bit!
Maybe it is just me, but I like to get a picture in my head as to whom I am talking to!
I've also noticed that some posters call somebody who I know to be a "she", a "he" and vice-versa.
For some reason, that determines how they (wrongly) reply to to them.
I think it is important that we know whether we are talking to a man or a woman.
Does anybody agree?
What is your thought?

Had enough...vent...Grrrrrrrrr
by Brummie inmy mom walked away from the org, disillusioned by the wt, never da or difd so occasionally still gets the mags delivered and a warning to hurry up back before she dies at armageddon.
shes a peaceable person so has never rocked the boat, doesnt want to lose her jw family, her brother is an elder and has never once phoned or called to speak to her since she stopped attending meetings.

Well it seems obvious that your mother doesn't want the calls, but at the same time you want to talk to this jerk, so, if you know his name, it should't be too difficult to find out where he lives through the grapevine. Then you can go and sort him out, and tell the phone company you want them to stop the nuisance calls coming from him. Even withheld or ex-directory numbers are known by the phone company. If they won't play ball, go to the cops. Oh yeah, try the Sunday newspapers while you're at it!

bob newhart was the first guest, the second was serena williams.
as i'd never actually seen her before [not a sports buff] and all i'd heard about her was the various jw postings, i was curious.. first, she came off as totally natural to me.
