I guess there should be all kinds of ghost walking around graveyards. There are a dozen small, country cemetaries around my house and I have yet to see one ghost.

In my case, the ghost was an older man. I am certain that he was the original owner of the house.
You should have charged him rent. Why do ghost always think they can hang around for free?

Ok, every family has at least one ghost story and heres the one that our family always told.
My grandfather was an officer in the Dutch army and he, along with his family lived in Indonesia (a Dutch colony at the time). Evidently spiritism is really big down there among the Indonesians. Anyway, my grandfather, along with a few of his army buddies, are making their way through a village. As theyre walking along they come across a local witch doctor (or whatever they call themselves) who invites them into his tent for a "magic" trick. He hands my grandfather a coin and tells him "You hide this coin anywhere in this tent and my doll will find it." So this magician leaves the tent and my grandfather begins to think "where should I hide this?" One guy says "Hide it under the chair" another says "No, over here under the blankets" all the while theyre laughing. Ah, but my grandfather has a better idea. Thinking that the witch doctor guy is watching he bends over and pretends to slip it under a chair but instead slips it into his boot. So theyre all laughing thinking theyre going to screw around with this old guy. After a few minutes, guess what happens? This freakin doll comes walking into the tent by itself! It walks around the tent, then walks up to my grandfather, grabs his boot and begins pounding its head against his boot!!! YIKES!!! Never did find out what happened after that.
What creeped me out most about this story is that my grandfather isnt one to tell stories. He was one of those "serious all the time" army officers. Just made the story sound oh so true when I was a kid!

older Victorian style home
Why do ghost stories always happen in older Victorian style homes? I have a brick and ceder ranch and feel so left out.

Most JWs would simply say that the Bible is not a book of science or engineering, so to bring out such oversights is nothing.
Personally, I like the information. Thanks!

Kind of funny coming from someone who supports an organization that frowns upon independent thinking....or for that matter, thinking at all.

I speak dutch, english and spanish fluently, at this moment I am self-employed, live and work in the netherlands, experienced in managing in sales. How should I get started? Thanks for your comments.
It's kind of funny but my parents came to the US from Holland back in the '60's. From what I'm told the Catholic Church assisted in finding a family in the US to "sponsor" my parents and even lined him up with an engineering job. I'm not sure if the Cathoic Church still does this but I'm sure one could find out.
