The public talk last sunday kept mentioning the "chariot" as well. AMIII says he is trying to keep up too. The "chariot" is merely a tool to make changing human commands and interpretations seem to have a divine orgin. Sad part is it works if you are willing to not think beyond the most base level. Problem is most JWs are not thinkers. Most that are are either here or will be.

Finally Free!!!
by ADJUSTMENTS inmy wife and i are finally free of this horrible cult we will be leaving the south east for the north western part of the us to start anew!!!
our friends and family have no idea of our new beliefs and feelings on the cult so it should be a nice clean break!

Wow. I hope this is the start of an avalanche of cases coming in. Although they will spin this as satans lies, the fact is they did have and still do have a modified 2 witness rule, which anyone can see is unacceptable. I hope EVERYONE abused comes forward now! This needs to be on the news everywhere. This will disturb many JWs.

I also kept thinking about how they repress everything natural and normal. They say you must be different. No wonder there is so much fustration and depression amongst this lot. You can only be repressed for so long before you snap in some way.

Good thread BB. I noticed similiar things. The top line of pictures depict a normal, balanced well adjusted young mans life, the bottom a cultish, isolationist, boring wierd one. They take harmless, healthy things and make them dirty and wrong.
The article employed sweeping generalizations, as well as black and white thinking. Either you listen to "Satans" voice, which is your own heart or anyone else, or you can listen to "Je-hoovers" voice which only comes from the FDS, their interpretation of the Bible, elders, or other "spiritually strong" "true christians" Anything else is a prideful, "no one can tell me what to do" attitude.
They also made sure they had to get in a Korah and Abiram rebelling against Moses and Aaron reference, a favorite tool of cults. They miss the irony that Aaron made the golden calf and those that followed his lead were executed.
