does anyone know what it's about?
are there abuse/molestation cases against the wtbts in russia?
This is interesting, we have just seen it on a newsclip, I think it was Fox news. It also mentioned that the Canadian lawyers are going to appeal the decision. It didn't take the Russian authorities to find out just how they break up families did it! I hope that some-one has a little more info on this subject.

i know that many ex-jws have joined various christian denominations or have become non-denominational christians.
do any of you now believe in the hellfire hell of eternal physical torment?
if not, do you now have some other view of hell that differs from the jw view of it?
I've just been reading a book tonight, it touches on hellfire, but I find it too hard to accept that if God is Love, he would be able to torture people for ever....... It doesn't make sense.
I suppose I still believe in ...the dead are conscious of nothing at all.

We are so sorry to hear, but as others have said, your dad and mum are an inspiration to us all. So many years and yet they had the principles to get out of the cult.

This change of format used to always puzzle me, causing great problems with Bros. and Sisters, zigzagging all over the city.
Why oh why did they not consult with the bros and sisters to ask them where would like to go.
Thus cutting out all the aggravation that this ridiculous change of policy brought about.
Power as usual had gone to their heads - and assuming that it is still the same today.

remember a few years ago 97 and down even more there use to be food at the assemblys(not the big rent-astadium ones).
i remember back then probally being 5,6,7,8 they use to give out food like hots hamburgers chips and so.
any idea why there isnt anymore?
I thought I had read that stopping the food at assemblies was something to do with tax evasion!!

lets face it, the bible does not say and so any explanation is little more than speculation.
those of us here that believe the bible has value can only reason on it as we see fit.
personally, i do accept the scripures but i do not see the need to take all of genesis quite as literally as the wt does.
sorry I must have hit the button too soon ....... I enjoyed the comments of others, As has been said there isn't much else to go on except just what is written in those few verses, there seems to be quite a lot of scripture that appears to be confusing now that we are trying to understand it with our own brains, instead of the cult's teachings.
