  how's the weekend going?

  mrs ozzie and i have been very busy with friends.

  had a drive in the countryside today and stopped at an english-style pub, replete with large beer garden where we had a great meal-- more like a feast, really; you know how generous the pub meals can be!

  Sounds like a great weekend, isn't it good to have time on Saturdays and Sundays to actually enjoy life !

  3. Back row - well in fact we always sat in the foyer downstairs (where the disabled had to sit, cos we didn't have a lift) Main Hall was upstairs We always referred to it as the GOQ (get out quick!)

  I will shortly be posting some letters and an email which were sent to us last year, from the United Nations, We had telephoned the UN from England, but still needed actual proof in "black & white" about their status as an NGO. In the letter they asked us to let our concerned "colleagues" know the situation, as they were unable to answer the scores of requests they were receiving, at that time they had had over 600 telephone calls from JWs wanting to know if it really was true.

  Its very doubtful !

  We wrote to the London Bethell, enclosing a copy of a letter which we had received from the UN (also a copy of the envelope with the official UN stamp on it) - we asked them to let us know what was the truth about all of this ( or words to that effect) but they didn't even to acknowledge our letter, we waited for over 6 months for a reply, and then we wrote to the local body of elders, to explain that we hadn't rec'd a reply from the London Bethel, and asked for them to answer our questions within 14 days. We also said that if the could not respond to our request we wished our names to be removed from all records of Jehovahs Witnesses (after 32 years in the "truth") Bang on the 14th day, we rec'd a one line letter saying that in response to our letter they had now removed our names from their records. no mention of the UN and a few other points we had raised.

  Now we are being shunned, although they are the guilty ones.

  Kaytee & Twink's "Resignation" letter

  this was the second letter given to elders that turned out to be a "resignation" letter.

  this was, as you will see, because they chose not to answer any of our questions.

  the reason we are posting our letter, is because it is now obvious (by personal experiences) that ones who we thought were our friends are now choosing to shun us.

  I wanted to email you, but unfortunately, since we changed over to this new style forum, I have lost lots of extras, - I can't see any photos on the left hand side, and cannot see any email addresses when I click on the poster' name. Have you any idea what I can do to sort this out, I have tried to get Simon or some-one to help but unable to make contact !
