The major "change" that I can see is that they're counseling the elders not to bother to try to refute any bad press that the WTS policies create.
Probably too many elders were beginning to feel the pangs of conscience due to the inaction of the WTS in resolving these problems. So, now it's "truth" from the Society that "apostates" have lied, and the media has "misrepresented" things. Just ignore them....they'll go away....we're right (as we always are), and Jehovah will KILL THEM ALL!!!!

Jesus would most likely applaud the fact that thinking people (like himself) were speaking out against the religious pharisees dwelling in their ivory towers in Brooklyn who are continually straining gnats and placing a heavy burden on those who are honestly trying to follow in his footsteps.
He would be proud of those who are brave enough to speak up against the hypocrisy and oppression that emanates from Brooklyn, and he would take one hot dog and a bun and produce enough picnic food for one whiz-bang apostofest!

let us develop a focussed discussion in which we agree ahead of time which sub-topic of this noxious subject we address first.. i will take the liberty of suggesting the following:.
given the almost inevitable and immediate degeneration that debates about creation and evolution seem to descend into, how about we address the sociological aspects first - to clear the ground, as it were: how would you feel (whether creationist or apostate evolutionist dog) if incontravertible evidence emerged that the "other" side was actually right?

MY side is NEVER wrong....whichever side that might be, and even more so if I change sides....which could happen if I deem it to be wise and just and profitable for me.
BTW, larc, the word is "gauntlet". Additionally, you are NOT the finest Christian in Ohio. We all know that you're married, and obviously your lovely wife MUST be the finest Christian in Ohio, since she deals with you on a day-to-day basis. Therefore, at best, you are the second finest Christian in Ohio.....which, as we all know, isn't saying a heck of a lot. But then, I'm teetering on the edge here myself.

Why Im ignoring my friends.
by refiners fire inive basically kept this under wraps in so far as this board is concerned, but ive decided to tell about it because, frankly, im under stress at the moment,am posting (when i post at all) a bit strangely and i wish to explain why im hardly posting, nor am i hardly responding to emails or chat requests from my friends here.
i apologize for the latter.
in a nutshell, my wife is sick, shes been sick a year now and the situation is getting worse.
