"During my readings and investigations into the early beginnings of the socio-religio-political movement that the Jehovah's Witnesses emerged from, I had read a copy of a letter that Clayton J. Woodworth had written while he was in jail during 1918 - along with six others of the Watch Tower Society's leaders.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with who Clayton J. Woodworth was, there is quite a bit of information available on the internet concerning this man. Not only was he one of the founding editors of the Golden Age magazine, he also laid claim to being one of the authors of The Finished Mystery - the book that was published by the Watch tower Society in 1917 that landed Rutherford and his cronies in the Atlanta jail on sedition charges.

But back to Woodworth's letter.

At the end of the copy of Woodworth's letter, there is this note:...." So read her postings in there , she is really working on uncovering a lot.

My chat with 2 Dubs yesterday about UN membership

i live close to a resonanbly busy street, 20 odd shops banks, a train station,a couple of cafes and coffee shops etc and usually see dubs doing street work close to the station and i'm now on nodding terms with an elder who is out most days of the week and have got close to recognizing most of the hard core of about a dozen of them , i was walking out of the cafe yesterday to be greeted by a couple of newbies i'd never seen before , a scruffy short dumpy man and a fairly well presented middle aged lady, i'll try and abridge the conversation as best as i can, we must have chatted for about 15 minutes and it was all in a good mannered style;.

me " have you sold many of those this morning ?".

jw guy " oh no we dont sell them we give them away for free" (like i didn't know that).

Justlooking, did you actually read the charter? Did you search the WT CD and see the positive mentions of the UN in the Awake and the WT? ( This is a requirement of an NGO BTW)

It helps to understand when you read it for youraelf.
