  Just because Bible prophesy might be coming true, it doesnt mean that the JWs are right and are the FDS, remember they have been saying this for 100 years, therefore they are a fullfillment of prophesy themselves, ie the prophesy about false religions saying Jesus has arrived before he really does arrive, "do not go after them".

  i was thinking tonight about all the wierd stuff that i viewed as totally normal being brought up as a jw.... here's my list.... - eating broken easter eggs after easter was not a sin.

  - your car always had to be clean in time for the co visit.

  - being assigned to the car park at a convention, with a walkie talkie, meant you had powerful connections.. - the amount of lines and hand writing on your sunday watchtower, spoke volumes of your spirituality.

  Hello and welcome Backslider.

  I cannot see how though, that they can drop the 1914 business as that is pivitol to the 1919 business and Jesus appointing the "faithfull and discreet slave" as Master over all his possessions? The whole religion stands on that time period and without it, it will all come crashing down.

  Unless of course, modern dubs are so dumbed down that they could accept the error of 1914 but not put two and two together to realise that would invalidate the GBs claim to have been appointed as the FDS.

  It would also leave no further doubt that not only is this religion in error, but they are actually aware of this, but continue which would make them a delliberate enemy of God.

  Not so much that science is flawed, but that even men in white coats can lie and decieve.

  A few years back when the leading global warming alarmists and Universities were exposed as fiddling the figures to get the gullible to belive in global warming and therefore pay higher taxes, I suggested to one of the Members of Parliament that instead of trying to get people to lead greener lives by deicieving them with "man made global warming", they should promote the real and true issues of pollution and how man is ruining the planet in other ways in order to arrive at the same agenda, but without putting people off by deicieving them.

  I guess though that most of the ruination of the planet is done by the multinational companies like BP and whoever it is that is still cutting down the rain forests, by getting is to belive in global warming, they can also get us to belive its our fault, that its our day to day living activities that are what is ruining the planet whilst the elite can carry on thier destruction unhindered.

  it went further to mention that we wouldn't want to question the motives of a sister who was appointed in the congregation as a pioneer.

  there was even a picture to add emphasis.. who on earth questions that?

  "rather, do not let your left hand know what you right hand is doing", says some scripture about only letting your works be known by God, for then you will have a reward from God rather than from men.

  If a Witness loves God enough that they wish to devote that many hours to the work, then surely God knows how many hours, so just do them, you can still write 90 hours a month on your slip without ever asking to be allowed to do so.

  Of course, if you Love to worship the Golden Calf whose rewards will only ever be here on Earth, then yes, you must get the label to announce to men your righteousness in order to reap the rewards of men.

  so similar to the jw situation in that its all about the culture of an organisation and determination to keep the brand looking shiny clean.. .

  I was lead to belive by my Bible Study conducter that this was how it worked, that God would reveal to the annointed his will, when the GB got some New Light from many differant annointed, they acted on and adopted it.

  I now belive this has never been the case, read Ray Franzs books, you will more likely find any annointed that write to the GB offering New Light will be disfellowshiped for apostacy.

  Whilst this debate about the pros and cons of 15 year old girls consenting, let us not lose track of the extent of Savilles crimes.

  He had his own key to top security prison Broadmoor, where he would abuse mentally ill patients, he had his own room at Stoke Mandeville hospital diue to the amount of charity money he raised for them, he pretty much lived there, and would abuse the sick children whilst they were helpless in thier beds.

  He frequented the Childrens home on the Island of Jersey which was under Police investigation due to the horrendous sexual abuse and subsequent murder of the victims, we are now entering the realms of child snuff porn, a far cry from consenting fully grown children.

  He also worked voluntarily as a hospital porter where he was allowed access to the morgue which relates to accusations that he was into necrophilia as well. The main stream media hasnt touched on this yet, but the independant media have for years, just as they have been exposing his pedophillia for years, but it is only now people will listen, now its on the TV!.

  Entirely Possible, just google Jimmy Saville, from about 1964 when he hosted the first Top of The Pops, he has risen to becoming perhaps Britains top celebrity, especially in the 70s and 80s, he is very friendly with the Royal family, and some of Britains top MPs, such as Margeret Thatcher whom he would spend Christmas with, he was very good at raising money for various charities.

  All these are reasons why his godlike status prevented anybody taking notice of complaints against him when he was alive, especially unwanted Children in homes who had no parents to protect them,this is what the fuss is about, that the British establishment knew perfectly well what he was up to, but didnt dare touch him.

  Snare and Racket, I think you must have misread my post, or I wrote it wrong, Iam not an apologist for either the Watchtower, or the BBC, the point I was trying to make was that just as the Watchtower has been rightly fined for allowing a culture of peodophillia, so the BBC should be for the same reason. I fully agree that the BBC should be hammered.

  The above film on you tube, watch from the 36th minute and watch Bills film, Sun sea and Satan, probably most will think its a conspiracy theory or ravings of a lunatic, purely because it comes from alternative media, yet would belive it if the BBC reported such, how ironic is that.

  As an abused child myself, and a resident of Childrens homes, I have obviously been interested in anything to do with Childrens homes and have done much research, the reports by Bill Maloney of Children being murdered in order to protect the establishment from witnesses to its darker side, I have heard from other unrelated sources, Websites, forums and groups for us now grown up Children from care, one such group I started and ran myself.
