It is an evil and smart religion, that can have such a strong and material hold on people. My parents also believed they would never die and got really disappointed when it became increasingly clear to them they were wrong. As kid I thought they were idiots for believing they would not experience basic life conditions but today I look at it more charitable and mature. I hope in time you will still have certain good memories about it and now look ahead for new things.

When "all" is not "everyone" or "everything."

we keep seeing posters bringing col. 1.16 and john 1.3 up as proof that christ is excluded from the creative acts.

the proof they submit is that the words "all things [gk., pánta]" appear in these texts.

however, they are missing this important element from the discussion: the word "all" is rarely used in greek, and even in our everyday language to mean literally "everyone" or "everything" under the sky.

1 Corinthians 15:27-28 only strengthens my basic point about all and context. Paul clearly understands all as all in this context, therefore he feels the need to point out it is evident that God is excluded from things to be subjected (or created). He is not saying it is also evident Adam, Nero, Mao, Hitler, apostates and all the other guys we don’t like are excluded too.

I dont know why you speak of the Trinitarians? Trust me, Arius came later and was considered a worse threath 😊.

Jesus is given all authority in heavens and earth (Matt 28:18) and is heir of all things despite the JW protest (Hebrews 1.2). God placed him “far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come” (Ephesians 1:21). The mode of Yahweh / Jehovah has retired with the old covenant. He said goodbye long time ago. As Paul explains in Philippians 2:5-11, grasping the incarnation of God the Father is essential to our understanding. Jesus is God as man and while Jesus as man has a Father, Jesus is to be worshipped nonetheless. We are to call on Jesus like the old covenanters called on Yahweh, God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ are various revelations / modes (1 Corinthians 1:2-3). It is the Incarnate who would be exalted now. The Word, the reason and cause of all things, was made flesh, came to serve God and man and now is exalted above all. He is one with the Father as He is God the Father in flesh (John 10:30, 14:9).

Where is the Arian Jesus in the Bible? In the old testament JWs may try to go for personified wisdom (Proverbs 8.23) or make the Creator “one of the chief princes” (Daniel 10:23). That is not how to speak of God the Father who emptied himself and became man to serve. Apart from his existence in flesh, the Son would be recognized as God and Father (Isaiah 9.6). The sum of the Word is truth (Psalm 119:160). So you must try to reconcile its teachings.

inside the amber was a flea, very similar to the size and kind that attack and eat our blood today.

whats even more astonishing is in the mouth they found bacteria that has the same make up as bubonic plague.

is there a difference ?

i believe so ,and a very big difference.one that harmonises with the new testament in bearing witness to jesus and his kingdom and one that amounts to a new gospel bearing witness to jehovah and his kingdom something that is condemned in the bible.. c.t.russell started the magazine called "zions watchtower and herald of christs presence" and its emphasis was on bearing witness about jesus christ and his kingdom ,of course he got many things wrong ,but he was focused on jesus & his kingdom with what the new testament is all about.. j.f.rutherford in his wisdom decided to change the heading of the watchtower to " the watchtower announcing jehovah`s kingdom" a phrase / term / doctrine that is not in the new testament and takes away the importance and role that jesus christ has in bringing people to god.phil.2:9-11. nowhere in the christian greek scriptures / new testament are followers of jesus christ instructed to be witnesses of jehovah ,nowhere there is not one scripture that instructs them to do so.. however in the christian greek scriptures / new testament there are over twenty scriptures whereby christians are told to be witnesses of jesus.. and it was by divine providence that followers of christ were to be called christians .acts 11:26 , not jehovah`s witnesses.. do jw`s even know what it means " by divine providence " ?.

the jw`s use isaiah 43:10-12 an old testament scripture to justify calling themselves jehovah`s witnesses,however that was applied to the israelites back then ,did they adopt the name jehovah`s witnesses ?

He would probably have considered that question inappropiate. He was a young earth believer believing the Russell s tendency towards old earth to be an error just as the pyramide belief. He also found the orgs fondness of depicting Jehovah and heavenly stuff disturbing. Complicated man🤭. I in return struggled a bit with genesis 1-11 but quickly concluded they were figurative tales.

Those Angels the org propably wanted to emphasize they were loyal and hardworking
