It is ok dear apostate 🤭
a recent wt study was titled: “the resurrection reveals god’s love, wisdom and patience.
apparently there was a lot of speculation on how those resurrected will be needing to be taught god’s ways in last weeks wt study.
does anyone know how the watchtower tries to weasel out of the "resurrection of damnation"?.

EverApostate,
Sure you will say so, naughty you. My point was that the context of 1 Corinthians 15 is quite different to Lazarus.
On a different note, I dont think JW apply 1 Corinthians 15 to the ordinary folk, just the 144,000

Ses breeze, I recall the Bible students /JWs reject the kjv translation of damnation in John 5. Instead they favor judgment and then has that second chance spin on what goes on in the judgment that we dont find in the Bible. In Preterist circles it is much debated what the ressurection means. Even partial Preterists argue that the ressurection in Daniel 12 refers to judgment on the covenant nation AD 30-70☺️. Almost all kinds of interpretators think Ezekiel 37 is a spiritual ressurection

EverApostate,
1 Corinthians 15 addresses imo the ressurection of the individual soul into heaven. The writer either forgot the people raised in old testament times and at the advent of Christ or he is not claiming those guys had the ressurection into incorruptibility and immortality he talks about. The new testament never claims Lazarus became immortal and heaven going when raised.
when you think about it the jws was foundationaly created upon a single core doctrine which was created close to a 100 years ago, that is the doctrinal year of 1914 .. the leader(s) of the ibsa in 1919 proclaimed that jehovah had selectively chosen them or him as it were by j. rutherford, they also self identified themselves as the anointed class the faithful slave.. from all of these expressive endeavors a new religion sprung up eventually calling themselves the jehovah's witnesses.
years and decades followed where more and more people were lured into the faith making themselves subservient devoted members as well, some also identifying themselves as the anointed class.
the jws proclaimed through their leaders (gb) that they were true loyal witnesses to jehovah's will and purpose, but were they really ?
I think in the green book celebrating jw past through their lenses, a faithful sister was praised for being steadfast while not being able to explain the 1914 doctrine. Like they promoted that it was too complicated to wrap your mind around while it really is not
i have a very good friend who has been banned from facebook simply because he makes remarks positive about president trump and negative toward the democratic party.
he has tried to get back on facebook and it appears there is no way for him to return.
people are being removed from social media platforms simply because they have a different political view.
Well come on with a replacement to Facebook and Im off. But no restriction on free speech this time ☺️

One example; I got my first seven days for saying a certain nation's people were stupid for voting in their particular leader. That was hate speech 😁😁

I have been in facebook prison several times for quite ridiculous statements deemed hate speech. I dont think much reasoning is behind it. If they were seriously moderating my statements they should find far worse 🤭. Anyway I hope Trump punishes Facebook or we right wing people get another platform. I look a bit at Parler of course
howdy everyone!
before i am accused of anything, i only came in here to fulfill a promise i made a couple of years ago.
this place keeps getting crazier.. i have a copy of a book that was given to me by a member of this group for free.
Well a lot of Americans outside the Hollywood elite love Trump despite the tales the media spins. People that bother to defend the Bible are not visible on this forum, that is hardly anyone elses fault
study 32, par 7 , cites 1 king 19-22 to prove that "jehovah" humbly asks angels their opinion.
-- not true, in effect.
the request was: who is going to go forth and lie for us, give a false prophecy?
Waton, I agree God is beyond our mental capacity. Whether the Bible is God's Word or not, it is revelation on level with humans at the time written. That is also a reason that I am Preterist and abhor the doctrines of Futurism and "Christian Restorationism" (JW is such a group)
