  Christianity is about God given faith and trust in Christ. Some have it, some do not. The Bible is dear to me but not the basis of faith. It should not be forgotten that JW religion and other restorationist Bible religions are based on failure of Jesus and the apostles to establish the Christian religion and Charles Taze Russells ressurection of it. Jesus claimed to have all authority and rule after his ressurection but not in JWism

  it is 510 feet (155 m) long, 85 feet (26 m) wide, and 51 feet (16 m) high.. .

  genesis 6: 14 so make yourself an ark of cypress[c] wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.

  It might be noteworthy to consider if the story was ever intended to be that literal. It is gets a few mentions in the Bible, not that much for such event. JW of course likes the story due to its global judgment element

  I love to visit the Kentucky ark if I ever get to that part of the world although they say it is quite expensive. The story is obviously a myth but cool nevertheless

  the answer is simple, a god must impregnate your mother.. i gave this some thought, as i read the following national geographic article, having had my mind thoroughly impregnated by holy spirit in the 40 years i spent as a temple slave, serving the chief god yhwh and his side-kick jesus, who, unlike me, had been completely begotten by holy spirit.. so with interest, i read about olympias, the mother of alexander the great, who told her son (alexander) that he had been begotten by the chief god zeus, who had turned up on night in her bed and had accepted his advances,.

  I guess this is a marxist reasoning. Why be thankfull for anything while a child somewhere else is sacrificed to Bommi or being abused. You could also ask why does my neighbor have 2 Porsche cars while children die of starvation. I guess there is a rightwing attitude to most Christendom. We care about our ressurection postportem into heaven and leave out child starvation and other failings of the kingdoms of men to God. I am personally politically active as well but you might have guessed not to the left by any imagination. I have always considered jw ism left wing as it seems to lead to the reasoning of you guys

  Going to see my abusive jw mother tomorrow

  my me mother and i do not see eye to eye to say the least.

  my childhood was fraught with her abusive behavior.

  alas.she is old now and though i have not spoken to her in a year she called the other day and wanted to see me.
