anyone who has a criminal record can't have any privileges from now on per the wts.. my conclusions:.

so what about the child molesters who have abused children who have been disfellowshiped, pardoned, or who have sincerely repented of their wrongdoingsbut the authorities were not notified?.

remember that article brothers?we have been up and running for less than a week and already have had accusations of apostacy bandied about.please stop and think before you make a serious allegation like this.

imagine the hurt it would cause to a genuine brother if it wasn't true.this doesn't mean that we should let our guard down against those who would try and disrupt things or cause divisions amongst us but i'm sure these poeple would like nothing more than to see us fall out with each other.some of these rumours have been spread by members of other boards or people pretending to be them.just be on your guard to this sort of activity and help us by not passing on unfounded accusations.thank you.

How Many Silent Lambs Do you Know?

i thought it would be interesting if we started count here on this board.

please list how many you know personally, then add from the previous results, to keep a running tally.

i realize it wont be an accurate count but perhaps an estimate of those that we know or are aquatinted with.. i'll start.. 3 +.

Personally, I know 2.

One was a Congregation Overseer who physically molested his sons and sexually molested his own daughters for years. All the while running a congregation. He was finally disfellowshipped after getting his daughter pregnant. (She had a healthy son BTW).

Another was an old paedophile alcoholic pioneer, who had the respect of everyone because he walked miles to conduct a Bible Study. He would grab young girls crotches in swimming pools and he sexually molested his own granddaughter. He is now dead and was never outed, though many knew of his paedophilia. After all, he was a "pioneer".

I also saw a brother running his hands up and down a young sisters legs (all the way up too)(she was 15). Does this count?

I was a child during all this so please, no comments as to why I didn't do anything about it.

So thats 2 (or 3) for me.
