The blood of the covenant and forgivness of sins
by enoughisenough ini am pasting in a copy of an email i hope my friend will read...i watched a video by bridget from az and i had thoughs i had never even considered before.
this is interesting : matt 26:28 for this means my 'blood of the covenant,' which is to be poured out in behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.according to wt, the christian greek scriptures were ( see copy ) wt 74 6/15 serve with eternity in view : also, it is to the spirit-anointed christians who will rule in that kingdom that most of the christian greek scriptures is directed, including the promises of everlasting life ( pasted from wt 74 6/15).
so matt 26:28 is at the lord's evening meal where the new covenant is being initiated.

Sorry to hear about that. It's also sad to see the degree of destruction JW causes to families. Take care.

Is the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses REALLY the "faithful and discreet slave" of Matt. 24:45-47?
by Roger Kirkpatrick inthesis: when someone who is given a responsibility mistakes that responsibility for authority, bullying is very likely to occur.. jesus spoke an illustration recorded at matthew 24: 45-51 which well illustrates this thesis.. jesus asked, “who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over all his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?
happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so.
truly i say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings.

Yes, I guess it is normal that you feel that way. But, please, do your best to move on. We can't ever forget nor recover the years we lost, but we can live our lives happily and help others to do the same! 🙏

I'm also pretty new here and I know what you're feeling. I'm going through it at the moment. But I'm doing fine. It's a war I'm going to win. And so are you. We're already winning!
Stay around and chat with us. You'll feel much less alone.

JW's in war zone
by Gorb inthere is so much silence about the jw's in the ukraine conflict.
are the jw men arrested because they don't want to fight?
how is that going in the hyper nationalist fase the country is in?

@LHHE, we can't assume anything from one response! We can only say that we don't know. Regarding the d nuclear power plant, here in Portugal we're having news reports on that and the case is under investigation by independent organisations.

Did becoming a JW influence you to give up something you enjoyed ?
by smiddy3 inwhen i was a teenager a younger fellow workmate was involved in the sport of judo.i got interested and went along to a number of sessions and took to it like a sponge to water ,and as a sport i was happy participating in.. not that much longer another workmate was getting re-activated in the religion of jw`s.
which i had never heard o before and then got interested in that .. conflict : was judo a sport that was compatible with j.w beliefs?
sadly i decided it was not and stopped any further involvement.. to this day i resent that decision i made back then .and i`m 82 years old now.. it was a sport i was comfortable doing and i enjoyed it.and i gave it up because of the religion .who knows what i may have achieved had i continued with it.

Although, according to their point of view, I wasn't a very zealous witness, becoming one hindered all of the most important aspects of my life: my family life was deeply affected, because my wife and my daughters were/are witnesses, the relationship with our relatives was also hampered as well as the one with our friends and it was a terrible waste of time and money. And you can never recover the time you waste!
