Stephanus,
LMAO
at a meeting last thursday night, so i'm reliably informed, a brother was sweeping up outside the kh as he always does every meeting.
on this occasion however, he was taken to one side by an elder, told it was not his place to sweep the front of the hall, and to go back to a neighbouring congregation as he is "not wanted here!".
maybe only the super-righteous can sweep in public and the rest of us slosh out the latrines!!!!!!!!!

Hey Zelvis,
The brother in question claims to be of the anointed. As zealous and good witnesses should not the elder have thought "if this guy is anointed didn't Jesus say 'What you do to the least of these my brothers you do to me'" basically then he was telling Jesus to stop pitching in and helping, which after all the Kingdom Ministry not long ago encouraged all to do. And he is assigned to the cong in question, a direct assignment from the British branch over the top of the elders heads. So not only was the elder insulting Jesus personally but was questioning the validity if a desicion made by the ORGANISATION. These are points made from valid beliefs of the organisation. And finally, where is the love?????????

i havent' been to kingdom hall in over a year, and i haven't talked to any dubs other than my parents for three years now.
i was wondering if anybody still had any contacts in the truth and how the average dub is feeling about the immediacy of armageddon?.
i remember growing up that this was an omnipresent motivation, especially when the whole "peace and security" thing happened in the early nineties, and we were expecting "sudden destruction" after the collapse of the soviet union.. but safe to say, i'm not worried about armageddon anymore - and i was wondering what the feeling was in the congregations.... czar
"Dieing from not having a blood transfusion not shocking."
Of course not, coz they get ressurection guaranteed so what's to worry about?
i run into sister k. at her office sometimes.
everytime i do we 'get into it' about how awful things are in the.
organization.
In a way, a good question!
the ultimate taboo of being a jw is the unforgivable sin, a direct action of going against the leadings of the holy spirit.
did this used to bother you, and do you think you are seen by jw's as having committed it?
for instance, is apostasy the only occurance of it, or in you opinion would it include adultery etc.
Thanks for all the interesting comments so far.
Rocketman, I agree that the Pharisees were the ones to have sinned against the holy spirit in that they had a direct manifestation of its power in their midst. But to bring that thought up to date, isn't the GB God's channel of communication on earth now, so to go directly against it's leading, ie to "apostasise", would be seen as such a sin?

anything in particular, or was it a combination of things??
?
Lack of love seems to be a really common complaint. I am interested is this mainly on the part of the elders (who should know better?) of the publishers as a whole. Or is it filtering down fro high up?
a friend of mine is almost a reiki master and i decided to let her use her skill on me.
while i was lying on the couch she put some really soothing music on which, aptly, is called 'reiki music'.. so soothing was this music that her husband kindly recorded it onto cd for me and i took it home.
i played the music to claire, who is a chartered physiotherapist, and she asked me if she could take the cd into work for her relaxation class.
How does music communicate with the Chakras, and where can I hear some?
i am relatively new to the internet thing.
i need to know if it is ok to devulge an e-mail message from someone and put it on the forum.
i am not sure at what point it becomes a betrayal of trust.
Treat it as you would a personal letter. Would you post that on a noticboard for us all to read?
Sounds fascinating 'though!
