  with the built of new jw.org media studio's we can predict the future of the jw religion.. because we are living in an age of digital media, what will be the effect of this all?.

  will the religion generate a new population?

  Will Jehovah’s Witnesses Go Back To Normal Activities?

  most every state has a plan to get back to normalcy.

  many countries also are ready to get their citizens on the road to recovery.. where does this leave the witnesses?

  will they ever go back to house to house ministry?

  Did Jesus lie about his generation?

  we all know the scripture where jesus says 'this generation will by no means pass away before the end will come'.

  the jw interpret this as the destruction of the jewish state in jerusalem by the romans and the dispersal of the jewish people.

  however, while researching the history of judea, i come across various facts about the region.. so jesus died about 30ce and his disciples were likewise well in their thirties or older, the 'generation' by definition would've lasted until ~50ce (the time during which children are born and raised to have children of their own).

  My first question is can you prove Jesus existed and if so can you prove he did miracles or is the son of god. Its rhetorical because no one can. This is why faith is needed. Faith believing in something without evidence.

  Phone-witnessing conversation

  just got called by a lovely elder(ly) woman trying to get a conversation started about the state of affairs in the world and if it is ever going to get better (this introduction is so old, this came straight from the old 1980's brown book of conversation starters).

  at first i asked whether she was a telemarketer, no, she is a "bible student".

  i hadn't heard that in a while, so i asked her what denomination, she kind of struggled and quietly said i'm one of jehovah's witnesses - the embarrassment was palpable.. so i said, oh, i'm one of jehovah's witnesses too!

  I would argue from the stand point that the bible is nothing but a book of foolishness and not worth believing in. I would say how the cult has never ever been right on anything its taught.

  gaslighting is a form of sustained manipulation that causes the victim to question or doubt their sanity, judgment and memories.

  it’s a form of emotional abuse.

  i think jehovah’s witnesses have been gaslit.

  I can remember when osb went from 4 to 19, can not remember why but it was back in the 90s if I remember correctly. Must have been the housing boom. It came back down but this is just insane. I had a steel 30x20 garage built because of the price of wood. Now steel is running up also.

  Anyone else selling stocks?

  i hit the highs yesterday and sold deep in the money calls.

  this will protect my stocks while i still draw dividends.

  I don't like Fiat currency. I don't like it in the USA even with the full faith and trust of the US government backing it and I like it a whole lot less in cryptos where there is nothing backing it and could be derailed by any of the G20 shutting it down. Governments don't like competition in their criminal enterprises. There is also a bubble in the cryptos. Bubbles can last many years. I am a net buyer in stocks if they crash like last year. Heck I was a buyer. I put in almost every extra dime I had into the market buying up stocks. My wife we so nervous and I told her I have no crystal ball but this is just panic stupid selling. I have since sold off a good portion of that bought stock to lock in the profit. Of my portfolio I have only 30 percent of my money into it the rest is the banks. My goal is to only have the banks money into stocks.
