because it takes 20 years to educate one generation of students that despite an abundance of information to the contrary, they are unable to come to a sensible conclusion in the best interests of their family, their community and their country and instead embrace the ideology of the enemy.

I have never done that. I have always tried to find common ground from which we can discuss divisive topics. Please reinstate my ability to offer encouragement to helpful posters and express dislike for posters that use insulting language and personal attacks. Also my ability to engage in private messaging. Another function of this board I have never abused.

I have also been unable to send private messages for a year or more. I was assuming it was some computer issue, such as I had posting threads.

He was sincere and yet troubled, that is something many of us can relate to. Taking months even years focused on such an obscure academic topic took a deep dedication. His work was valued by many thousands.

ray,,,,I'm of the opinion that you are correct in that the introduction of an angel into some of the OT theophanic narratives did in an indirect way open some Jews to the idea of a second divine figure. As was said before, the idea of a 'second power' in heaven was percolating among Hellenized Judaism in late second Temple times.

I noticed I made a technical error. Both birds with and without penises use internal fertilization. I should have defined things better. Internal fertilization occurs in amphibians with tails, caecilians, some frogs/toads, some fish, and all amniotes. External fertilization occurs in most frogs/toads and most fish. Interestingly internal fertilization was apparently true of all amphibians prior to frog (anuran) evolution. But I'm hoping the point I was trying to humorously make was penis or no penis.
