to my surprise, they all had exactly the same doubts and reasoning i had and said even though they've been out 6-7 years they "still feel tied to it in some way" and "feel guilty celebrating xmas or birthdays".
Some changes have to come in in order to maintain control surely?

the human wreckage of this disgusting practice is astronomical.
Again, this religion, doesn't just make parenting difficult, it sometimes forces a JW parent to simply abdicate their role as parent.
