  A Comforting Thought About Watchtower

  this organization will never again be what it was by 2013-2014. .

  they peaked in the form they were, i believe they were already falling apart in ways, but from the outside and to the majority r&f, things likely still seemed on the up and up.

  browsing through the boards and just keeping my finger on the pulse of what's happening, this organization will never again be what it was.

  It`s so slow,most never notice..

  The rest chalk it up to the light getting brighter..

  They all just plod along..

  It reminds me of the boiling frog anecdote..

  Honest Questions About Child Abuse

  i have two honest questions for everyone here.

  i understand that most here want retribution from the courts against watchtower for child abuse allegations.

  but let us take away the instances where someone was accused of child abuse and then later put back into a position of authority, such as an elder or an ms. let us just take the cases where a regular publisher or even an appointed person, with no previous accusation of child abuse has come up against that person.

  IMO, virtually every passive-ass component of the Org's abuse-related policies reinforce my suspicion that there are abusers (past or present) currently imbedded in the hierarchy, possibly right up to the top.....Vidiot

  ...and that as far as the Org is concerned, this "revelation" would be downright "apocalyptic"......Vidiot

  The monumental problem they have now,is of no concern to your average JW..

  If it was found out there were pedophiles at the top of the WBT$..

  Sisters running microphones?

  so our sunday meeting was on the 25th (christmas) and my active jw wife and i were out of town enjoying some family time with relatives.. apparently there were many others in our congregation that missed as well.

  so few were there in fact that sisters ran the mics.

  (actually it was a sister running one of the two mics) a friend of my wife commented to her about how the brothers just aren't stepping up and it "makes her want to cry.

  Just because you recognize a matter, no matter how bad it is, is a complex issue that will require a complex solution doesn't mean you are trying to distract from something. There is a huge issue with people overdosing on opioids, with many contributing factors.....RO
