  we like to think we are logical and have good reasons for for our beliefs.

  no more so than when it comes to our reasons for rejecting the truth claims of jws.

  we reject their version of history, such as the date of the fall of jerusalem, because it doesn't agree with the historical evidence.

  People make new friends, join a new club, meet a new partners, start a new career, move to a new location, or start education. These are the life events that tend to precipitate leaving JWs - other than being forced out.

  In WatchTower World..
  

  Your not making new friends outside of the WBT$..

  Your not joining a club of any kind..
  

  Your not going to accept a new partner outside of the WBT$.

  JW`s usually look for the Kingdom Hall when they move to a new location..

  JWs rarely pursue an education..

  So nothing you listed,applies to a Loyal WBT$ JW..

  Your looking for a person "already on their way out" of the WBT$ JW`S..

  And....That`s the Point..

  Unless someone has already decided they are leaving the WBT$ JW`s..

  You don`t have much hope of persuading them of anything.

  Your more likely to scare them back into the Waiting Arms of the WBT$..

  And I just wonder what implications this has for people who would attempt to persuade or convince JWs that they are wrong. Logic, reasoning and evidence are probably among the least effective tools.....SBF

  How do we convince others JWs are wrong..

  A lot of JW`s.....Like being JW`s..

  Your not going to convince them of anything..

  don't say anything about JWs at all. Ignore the subject and suggest doing something alternative instead of the ministry. Then instead of the meeting.

  it is a pain that certain individuals pride themselves on hating god, who created everything.

  like it's understandable that you choose to not believe in him because of your selfishness or thinking skills but to hate him is forcing it a bit.

  i'm very thankful that those such as myself have the courage to believe in the lord.

  are you aware, however, of exactly how much this "little bit" really is?

  theists would have us think that the slightest change in the distance would have drastic implications for survivability.
