We had a chat last night and she said she will not show her them again. I directly said I don't want you mentioning anything jw and she said she will not. Hoping she sticks to it.

if you were hooked up to a polygraph machine when you were still an asleep, kool-aid drinking dub and asked if you agree 100% with every single wt teaching (asked as individual questions and collectively), would you have "passed" with no signs of deception?.
i know, i definitely would not have "passed" such an interegation.
i would have tripped up on questions about blood, dfing and non jws being marked for destruction just to name a few.
This realization caused me to see how I was just lying to myself about what I believed and wondered how many JWs would show no signs of deception when queried on their faith?
Some JWs can`t explain why they believe,what they believe..They just believe..

My question really is am I overreacting? Should I let my lo hear her grandmas point of view and as she gets older I can provide others views. My gut feeling is no and this will probably mean no more contact as they are a sneaky bunch and she will probably try to tell my lo stuff when I'm not there. Any thoughts appreciated.

the longer i am away from the cult, the more very childish and downright silly it seems in many many ways.. just another example of the childlike way they do not think things through is their obsession with "not bringing reproach on jehovah's name", that concept was used to stop jw's doing all sorts of stuff, a lot of it quite normal.. but the worst aspect of this concept is that they cover up the evil within their org any way they can.. yet they only have to look back on all the cover-ups of the past, by other religions, by politicians etc etc to see that an open acknowledgement and an open dealing with the situation at the time is far better.. cover-ups get exposed in the end, and leave you looking far worse than if dealt with honestly..
