So this guy seems to be the equivalent of a Branch overseer, or perhaps a District overseer? Not sure the exact JW equivalent.

Getting your WT files deleted (UK)
by Splash inthe uk are tightening up their data protection laws to make it easier for individuals to get hold of the information organisations hold on them and to get it deleted.. i think paul grundy (jwfacts) went through this with wt once and found it very time consuming and difficult.. will wt now abide by the law and hand over or permanently delete the records it keeps when requested?it would mean every uk exjw could have their report card info, personal file with age, sex, baptism date, judicial information, appointment/deletion/disfellowshipping dates, letters of disassociation, letters of recommendation when you move, phone number and address permanently removed.
anyone acting for the wt (elders) who retain this information, eg your phone number in their phone or the secretary keeping your historical monthly report details, will be in violation.
failure to comply will incur a fine.. expect a letter to all boe's any time soon explaining why this does not apply to them.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-40826062.

I wonder love to have my information extracted and destroyed, but I am in the US.
For those not in the US, I wonder, does the US HQ comply with a request abroad to redact in their records? Or would they fall outside that country's privacy and information laws?
Of course, due to theocratic warfare, I do not trust that Watchtower would truly destroy their records on a person. It would be impossible to prove.

Of course, few JWs actually want to go out in "field ministry" anyway.
But this is good news.

Today the Little Caesars chain is another bottom of the barrel quality (along with Pizza Hut, Dominoes, ect).
But I remember when they first opened in my area when I was in my teens, they served this Sicilian style pizza with fresh tasting ingredients. I'd never had anything besides Pizza Hut and it was mindblowing.
Of course, over the years, Little Caesars eschewed quality for quick and cheap.

My favorites are all local...never a chain restaurant.
In my area (Richmond, Virginia): Leonardo's, Maldini's, Mary Angela's, Nonna's.
My favorite places which closed long ago were Pacino's and Roberto's. I still think back on them longingly.
I don't care for Pizza Hut either...I can't remember the last time I've been there. It's probably been over 10 years, if not 15. I grew up eating that because that's what my parents got, but like the religion they raised me in, I didn't know anything else.
My wife orders Papa John's and sometimes it's okay. But it would never be my preference. Of course, right now, I am dieting, so no pizza for me from anywhere unfortunately.
I would love to go to Chicago one day and have a real Chicago-style pizza.

Using Illegal Means for Righteous Activism
by John Davis ini wanted to get people's opinion on something.
how do you feel when people use illegal means while performing their activism to shed light on the watchtower.
there have been people who have illegally recorded conversations with elders and with branch offices or at meetings.

There is a continual tension in the human condition: Society needs laws--but sometimes a law is wrong. Legal doesn’t always mean good or right.
Also, sometimes individuals and organizations can use the law to cloak themselves, and if they have the resources, they can become untouchable.
At one time, slavery was the law. And those who helped slaves escape were breaking the law. Today we praise these people as heros.
At one time, segregation was the law. And law enforcement acted against those who broke this law. Today, we hail the individuals who engaged in civil disobedience for the greater good.
If it were not for whistleblowers, we would not know about immoral and unethical behavior of organizations, corporations, powerful individuals, or even entities within governments.
If Watchtower was indeed the force of good in the world it claims to be, it would welcome transparency. It would have no problem having its hierarchy recorded, its documents leaked. It would open its computer files. It would welcome itself to be audited. It would itemize everything and make it public. After all, what would there to be to hide?
As John 3:20 says, “For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. “
With all that said, that is not to say every act of breaking the law in order to work for the greater good is okay. The ends don’t always justify the means. But sometimes it might be the only way.
Assassinating Watchtower officials or their hierarchy...that would definitely NOT be okay. Burning down Kingdom Halls or Watchtower buildings...that would NOT be okay.
Protesting in the Kingdom Hall...it would be counterproductive to the cause, but it would not cross an ethical line.
Whistleblowing, turning over documents, secret recordings, leaking information...I'm all for it.

Subliminal images - why and who are the individuals behind it?
by UnshackleTheChains ini remember about 5 years ago reading on another site about subliminal images in wt literature.
i honestly thought it a load of bs until i checked out one glaringly obvious image of a creepy skull in clouds within the knowledge book.
i was shocked and even showed my wife at the time who thought it was creepy.. so my question is why?

Let's say there are subliminal images that the Watchtower has purposely placed in the artwork.
Who would be in charge of that? Would the Governing Body know? Do they give instructions that comes down to the art department? Are these instructions written? Why hasn't these instructions, verbal or written, leaked? Why hasn't anyone who carried out these instructions come forward?
