  The two prophets are now clearly represented, not as a nebulous body of ‘anointed’ as it was said before, but specifically, with Rutherford and friends, the 8 leaders who went to prison. After their release in 1919, they become the “Faithful Slave”.

  Of course, neither Rutherford or his companions are aware of such an appointment, for up until 1926, they teach that Pastor Russell is the Faithful Slave. And the leading ones which morph into the Governing Body are still unaware of such an appointment all the way up until 2012.

  In regard the 1918 ‘martyrdom’ of the ‘two prophets’, nobody was actually killed, which is generally what a martyr is.

  So evidently, no prophets were harmed in the fulfillment of this prophesy.

  some of the ramblings of the gb members seem to indicate impending senility.

  for example, anotony morris (the turd) and his idiotic 'tight pants' monologue is a perfect example.

  did folks who attended this summer's conventions hear any statements from the gb members that would indicate they might be in early stages of senility?

  i was talking to an ex-bethelite who was at the 'big house' in the late 60s and early 70s and he mentioned that daniel sydlik was exiled (asked to leave bethel) for a couple years when he married his wife (who at the time was very young and very much his junior).

  according to this ex-bethelite, his marriage was somewhat controversial and they didn't want it to stumble anyone at the time, so he still stayed in the nyc area, but just not in bethel?

  of course, this was when they had the corporation director format and before they officially adopted the governing body structure.

  let us read a recent watchtower publication:.

  many medical professionals and other advocates of blood transfusion appeal to people to donate blood in hopes of saving lives.

  however, jehovahs holy people acknowledge that the creator has the right to say how blood is to be treated.

  i was watching a couple videos on youtube earlier and always like to peruse the comments at the bottom of the page.. i'm no sure if this has been discussed recently, but one indivdual made the claim that the societies numbers are massively over inflated, as he/she believes that they include inactive, df'd and da'd in their figures.. does anyone have any information to confirm this or i this just another assumption made without evidence?.

  (also has anyone heard from witnessmyfury lately?

  i had a pm chat with him a few days ago but not had a reply to my latest msgs.

  I don't think we have any real evidence either way. There may be some padding in field service hours...maybe some people round them up.
