  Why would a God want worship anyway?

  the need to be worshiped is a human failing rather than divine.. when you look into history, you find that it as been the tyrants, that have required worship/devotion, from its people.

  look into the bible, you find a battle over worship.

  there is satan who supposedly wanted just one act of worship from jesus, and he would give kingdoms away.. then there is god, who reportedly required the sacrifice of thousands of animals on a weekly basis as part of his worship.

  funny how the prospect of christmas takes me back to my pre-dub days as a 7 year old.

  christmas eve was spent making my present request list, duly guided by both my parents as to what to ask for.

  once completed, the coal fire was stoked up and the precious list was allowed to be carried up the chimney where waiting elves promptly delivered my requests to santa.

  Its difficult to come to terms with blatent/self prerpetuating stupity. Your mom would get along quite well with my own beloved yet braindead mom and dad.

  Billy, I feel the same way, you are not alone.

  The bond that most of my friends have with their parents is 100% non-existant with me.

  I know that most would disagree but I am going to hold my parents responsible for the way I was raised. I know they long for a "normal" relationship with me and my beautiful family. But they are gonna get treated the same way they treated me when I was at home. If they want to talk to their grandson I am gonna say no, just for the sake of being different, just like they did to me when I begged to play football in high school. They are gonna feel what its like to be f****ed up the same way they did it to me. My reasons are just as valid as their stupid reasoning. They are already paying the price for being unreasonable.

  I am prepared to stand my ground right down to the end just like they would have done if I needed a blood transfusion to save my life. They would have let me die without even thinking twice.

  Would your parents sacrafice you?

  the" creator book "helps us to see how many of the bibles predictions came true.. for instance on pg 106 we find,.

  "consider this point.

  isaiah wrote about babylons final situation:babylon the decoration of kingdoms, the beauty of the pride of the chaldeans, must become as when god overthrew sodom and gomorrah.she will never be inhabited, nor will she reside for generation after generation".

  i've seen loads of live acts, back when i was a "young person asking" i watched the crystals, heinz, johnny kid and the pirates, brenda lee, joe brown and others all on one show.

  so very innocent!.

  come my eventual departure from dubdom, i resolved to see all these bad people playing their music live.

  Serious suggestion for JW's

  why does your name have to appear on the monthly report card that you hand in?

  i completely understand the need to keep track of hours, placements etc., but this could be accomplished without each persons name.

  is it really necessary (or scriptual) to judge the state of a persons spirituality by numbers tallied on a score card?

  Not only do you have to be on the clock but you HAVE to be in the union as well and pay dues. The hours suck but the pension is great.
