  If you are a minor then you must be 15 or under, it's not really something a 15 year should have on their mind. When I was 15 any girl I was going out with was amazing as well, but take it from me, and others here, you'll be doing her a favour by never inviting her to the hall. The fact that your parents are allowing you to go out with her, as a minor, tells me they are aren't hard core, and the fact that you are doing it shows you aren't hard core so why you'd want to take her is beyond me.

  Enjoy your youth but don't ruin hers by introducing her to a cult.

  Leavingwt, I keep meaning to get a hold of it, just haven't got around to it yet. Started reading the god delusion and enjoying that, god is not great was fantastic though.

  Why are you going and why does your lady want to go? Are you planning on becoming a JW or are you already one? Does she want to become one?

  When I was a JW no one ever had a good word to say about witnesses who only came once a year and no one saw the point of them doing it. What are you hoping to get out of it by going?

  Leavingwt, I'd never heard that term before, love bombed, but it describes perfectly what can happen on memorial night.

  I considered going to the memorial last year but a lot has happened in a year, I'm no longer living in terror because of the false teaching of the WTBS and see absolutely no good reason to ever set foot in a kingdom hall again.

  Anyone here use a tablet computer

  just curious here who uses the new tablet computers, whether they be android based or ipad ios from apple.

  does anyone here use a phone to post and what is your experience with that?.

  i'm curious as to how much more time there will be before these devices are the main computers for people.

  Dropbox is good as is sugarsync and Evernote, I love them and I now regularly use them on the iPad.

  i'm listening to streaming audio from hearts of space, and pink floyd (new to me after all these years) is featured on the program "when space met rock.".

  their playing a concert began amidst beautiful, sunny weather - then came the storm .... were you there?

  I have an iPad and use it daily but I need my iMac for work. I couldn't do anything work wise on an iPad but it's useful for what it is.

  JW Elder still in music business - despite telling congregation he wasn't

  i've known this elder for years.

  when i was in the borg he told me how he was in the music business before he became a jw.. he made a point of telling me how ruthless it was and how he had been ripped off for thousands of pounds.. he did many talks from the platform over how as a young man he was involved in a typical 'drugs, rock and roll' lifestyle and how becoming a jw changed his life.. there was a young guy in the congregation who was particulary interested in music.

  this elder counselled him that it was ok to do it i.e.

  Are you an athiest and why?

  i'm interested in finding out people's reasons as to why they are athiest.. i have simply through life experience, my research into religions over the years come to that conclusion.

  never thought i would come to a day that i did not believe in a god.

  believing in a god is like believing in super man, it would be great if he existed but well it's just a fairy tale.
