  we got more bad news regarding my brother in law.

  for those of you who don't know, he has myelodysplastic syndrome.

  that's not the worst of it.

  20 years ago, my then 12 yr old daughter (we were still in then) had a bone transplant

  we did not bat an eye at her receiving it

  and no counselling whatsoever from the elders, etc

  i just read on the accesshollywood website that michael jackson wanted his kids to be raised by his mother if anything happened to him.

  those poor children will now have to endure an even more bizarre and f***ed up chilhood than before.

  Jw's getting married BEFORE divorces are final?

  a video was sent to me with some claims that struck me as very odd.

  after over 40 years associated with the wbts i never heard that a couple could marry and consumate their marriage even while one of them was in the middle of a divorce that has not been finalized.

  the claims are that they can marry with a "promise" to go and get the union ratified by civil authorities and that jehovah and jesus are ok with the fornication as long as they promised.

  my x got married 12 hours, yes 12 hours after our divorce was final

  what you say, they arent to date, etc, until they are divorced,,well never mind, he had already finished his year in jail (oh wait he got an ankle bracelet while in jail as the jails were full)

  but no problem, he was not public reproved, disfellowshipped, etc, although i was,,hhmm

  still a'good brother' in good standing, although he is now, or has recently in the past, fooled around on this wife of his

  i cant wait for 'karma' to kick in:)

  ok so the mate took good notes at the ca and here is the newest on "higher education:.

  the usual bashing of motives: those who want great wealth, prestige and seek it in a college educationcollege graduates don't always get jobs in their fieldsdrugs, drinking and sex are "rampant" at collegesthose who want to "snatch us away" are near if we go to college (isa 54)if we seek a college education, we are not spiritual mindedthe most disturbing for me was this:.

  those who choose college will not get blessings from jehovahand of course there was the obligatory interview with the college graduate who disdains the education whe received.. .
