  i am now a jedi, so trust me on this.. .

  why dis-associate, you are just playing by the wts rules?

  how can you dis-associate anyway, you never thought you were baptised as a watchtower society member, you thought your dedication was to god, so why formally disassociate from something you did not formally join?

  i remember pulling up to the little house gate thing at the entrance to the canadian betherl, around 87

  wel there were 2 gals in the little house(box)

  and one of them was drop dead gorgeous,,,,long black hair,,,,make up and red finger nails,,i almost died, as red polish, even at that time,,,was frowned upon in our hall on the west coast:)

  i, too, thought it was major child abuse and the ministry (or whatever it is called there) should have stepped in, she should not have received adulation (ie jay leno show) for her behaviour

  well, it's memorial season and mom has been giving me the "look" this past week ever since she has decided to pioneer for february and march.

  anyways, the thing is i plan on buying a new car in the next couple months.

  well, i know how my mom operates.

  There are some here that are simply forgetting that many of us who are still in are still very young and live at home. "um, 22 is not very young,,,,13 or 14 is...."
  
  Those of you who live on your own, can take care of yourselves financially wether you get D'F or not..well some of us are not that lucky. "many of us do not live alone when we leave,,,we leave knowing we will be totally alone.......yet honest to ourselves...." I know plenty my age who were not prepared to leave the WT yet, ended up doing it anyway and are not left off to fend for themselves and being able to go to school is just not an option. "fending for oneselves,,,,now that is the real world....going to school is always an option,,it just takes time to arrange the options for oneselves" There have been plenty of times where I have been offered a place to live (usually by some guy it seemed that I was getting serious with at the time) but I just cannot think like that. I shudder at the thought of having to be dependant on a man. I want to do it on my own "if so, then why are you waiting for your parents to GIVE you a car,,,that is not doing it on your own" "sorry, i just seem to have a hard time with some younger ones who want life given to them on a platter

  i just found out today (from my sister) that crooklyn will not be making any more bound volumes of the watchtower or awake magazines after this year------instead, they're all going to be on audio tape only.

  she does not have a computer so i generously

  i think this could very well be yet another tactic of the gb trying to keep a lid on their "embarassing" quotes of yesterday.

  sorry, but i am with you mrsjones5, my integrity is what counts,,,,i could not live the lie

  that is why i am out and can stay out,,,albeit i started out in extreme poverty,,,and not a youngin either,,,now that was a challenge,,,,,,,,but i am so much better for it and became a person i never thought i had the capabilities to become:) am very proud of myself

  i just got the local paper for chilliwack, there was a supreme court case here regarding a jw, i will do a bit of the first few paragraphs, for more go to www.chilliwacktimes.com and you should be able to find the whole article.

  doctor cleared in death.

  supreme court judge has determined a release form signed by a local jehovah's witnes woman who died following a hysterectomy is enough to clear the doctor in the case from paying damages............ btw.
