  well saw him on the academy awards last night...ok, np.

  today on the oprah show, chris rock was on there tooting bout how prince had an after oscar's party, with many there including himself.

  and how prince did a few tunes.....hhmmm wonder how many from his cong were there, you know the reverant window washers and carpet cleaners.... no, just bad worldly associations.

  they still haven't announced the big winner yet, best movie, but so far, is it just me or they couldnt find anyone else to sing tonight?

  beyonce' can sing and everything but she's sung 2 songs so far tonight.

  he had on the gawd awful jw suit ----navy blue jacket and beige pants---how i hated those

  he must have fabulous eyelashes, or else he had adorned himself with makeup again:)

  after reading some threads today, it got me thinking.

  so many times people on this board talk to witnesses who come to the door, but then tough questions are asked, and they say they will come back.

  but so many times they never show again.. when you went out in service, did you make an effort to go back?.

  yes it is quite sad indeed. my x and i were just coming into the org. and my daughter, about 10 yrs old, knew the reason for a disfellowshipping in our cong. (we barely knew what a disfellowshipping was)

  her information came from an elders 11 year old daughter, and their family was quickly chastised upon hearing about this (which we innocently forwarded).

  a few years later, this elders daughter took up with a local punk (gang wannabe) and he soon was doing time in jail for a murder. not a good situation at all. he was also the p o of the cong.
