Im a mormon

im a mormon now and have been one for the last 3 months.

at first i really liked it but now i am starting to have 2nd thoughts, i grew up as a jehovahs witness and was disfellowshiped at 19 i really started to look for a new church in july of this year.

i started out in a christian church which i really liked but i didnt understand the jesus as god thing/trinity.

Another thing that really helped me was researching the Living Water that Jesus spoke of to the Samaritan woman in John 4 and John 7:37. What did they need to do to receive the Spirit?

What's The Biggest Difference In Today's JWs And The Witnesses From Decades Ago?

i believe today's witnesses lack zeal, resolve, "love" of the "truth"......just to name a few things.. years ago, witnesses were excited to knock on doors and tell people they were gonna die if they didn't accept paradise.. now, when you see jws in service, they all look zombied out.. it's a slowly dying religion that will last probably forever like an ancient rotted out tree..

i had the funniest thought at work...what if me and three apostate friends protest at a convention, and right before the song during a c.o's talk, we got up, and pretended like we were gonna do a normal sister embrace, and then, out of no where, me and the other 'sister' do would a long lesbian kiss while the c.o.

is giving a talk on fornication....what do you guys think the audience would do?.

Were Jehovah's Witnesses Correct In ANYTHING They Taught?

I think that they were pretty much wrong on everything...

but regarding heaven, hell and God's purpose for the earth, most Christians have that wrong too, so it makes them seem believable.

i beginning to think that this would be a good way of thinking, a totally righteous being would not let all the shit that is happenning to people prevail, this being cannot have the best interests of man as his first priority, it's all about ego and no matter how the human familty suffers, he hates pretty much everyone, as the tv show says, your fired, let's get a better god, one who at least gives everyone a chance!!.

i welcome comments from god apologists, to at least have an argument as to why they put they're faith in someone that does'nt give a shit about them!.

Just How Self-Centered Are JWs?

i just received a brochure from a midwestern travel agency operated by jws that specialized in bethel tours.

i found this excerpt, relating to one item on the itinerary, as visit toe the holoccaust museum in washington quite interesting: "the museum is dedicated to presenting the story of how more than 30,000 jehovah's witnesses were persecuted by the nazis.

apparently the tour operators consider the slaugther of more than 6 million jews unworthy of mention!
