  kingdom hall south dakota live stream.....i found this video on youtube.com.

  it reminds me of my old kingdom hall where hardly anyone is sitting in the front rows and doesn't seem like they have a large membership.most kingdom halls sit around 200 people at the most and seem to have a hard time filling the seats.. my old congregation had around 45 members when i left 4 years ago.we always seemed to have a hard time meeting the monthly expenses.some months,i was told that some elders would contribute extra money so the congregation would not be in the negative for the month.. how many members did your congregation have while you were still attending and did meet its expenses for the month?.

  I always said that the only useful valuable commentary the WT ever produced was the crossreferences in the Bible. And I'll bet they stole most of that from Scofield and Dake.

  It appears this was entirely an error in the initial newspaper report. Newspapers of the time were rife with errors. I remember finding a news article for the day the Titanic went down that reported that 'all were rescued'.

  russell was a mason.barbara anderson and james penton, respected wt historians, claim that he was not.according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/list_of_freemasonsthroughout history some members of the fraternity have made no secret of their involvement, while others have not made their membership public.

  in some cases, membership can only be proven by searching through the fraternity's records.

  My father was a FreeMason before he was a JW. He says the Bible they used was the first one he had ever looked at or paid any attention to. I believe it was the KJV, and they memorize portions of it for their stuff they do.

  Finished Mystery (1917)... The book that Jesus approved...

  so a few months ago, a friend sent me an actual copy of finished mystery which was published in 1917 (not a pdf download... the actual book).

  i must say, this was the most disturbing book i have ever had the displeasure of reading.

  but i only read it because this was the main publication that was being distributed worldwide when jesus supposedly chose the watchtower in 1918 and i basically wanted to see for myself what jesus saw in the wt that would compel him to choose this religious corporation over all other religious denominations.. anyway, if anyone is interested in knowing the actual contents of this book, here are some bullet points i put together from some of the notes i took as i read the book:.

  Pseudo history in Watchtower today 😂

  gorby went to the kh for family reasons today.. and landed right away middle in a pseudo history watchtower article.

  just that aspect of the jw belief he is so sensative about.. so 1918 and 1919 are changed with one mark of a pencil.

  the argument of change was in the past the argument of the doctrine.

  BETH-SHAN: Images of Rutherford's Bomb Shelter

  for any who are interested, rutherford's infamous bomb shelter at "beth-shan" has been officially documented by the city of san diego historical resource board.

  they have photographs, plans, and an interview with the couple who built their home on the land (5330 le barron rd).

  7th Day Adventist growth/decline stats similar to JWs

  the sda's are also getting most of their growth in africa and latin america but plateauing or declining in europe and parts of the western world.. what's also interesting is the sda leadership fronts up and attempts to explain why there is decline in some areas of the world (albeit somewhat disingenously), eg, on the link below from 2014. but the watchtower leaders have never tried to give any explanation for why membership is dramatically falling away in the western world.

  I don't know much about the SDA, but I have looked at some of their reference volumes called 'Prophetic Faith of our Fathers' or something like that, in 4 volumes. Pretty good books in my opinion
