  Elder School Video

  hope you guys can help me find something.

  there was a video circulating about three years ago showing a sample judicial meeting, which basically ended up with the other elders slamming the one guy who was trying to be somewhat merciful.

  of course the person was df'd.. my husband said at the meeting they actually had a talk saying that now the elders look for any reason not to df, etc.,etc.. i am trying to find that video.

  ever noticed how co's and ex-do's never say thank you for the hard earned money they get from the friends?

  they truly believe they are entitled to live an easy life at the expense of others.

  Why the Governing Body caught a frightful fright

  it has been extensively reported on the forum that there has been a marked increase in effort over the past two years by the governing body of jehovah's witnesses to encourage an increase in monetary donations.

  this has also been accompanied by the stripping of financial capital from the local congregations.

  as has also been reported on this forum, this has in all probability been done to facilitate the financing of the vast new hq building project as well as the financing of the shift from a publishing company to becoming an internet based charismatic multimedia company which produces lame pixar/disney animation knock offs while simultaneously parading the governing body's ever expanding waistlines, blingy accoutrements and stupid grins.. meanwhile the financials of the organization remains as murky as ever.

  Who really is assigned the Congregation Charity Tax return in the congregation?

  i have this poor friend that has so much to do.as an account servant.

  i recently noticed that he got additional work loaded on his back by the secretary who told him that it was his responsibility to fill this register charity form return.. i remember from long ago that this was a job that the secretary had to do, but can't find it in writing.

  does anyone have anything in writting on it?.

  I heard this story before many years ago. I always thought it was more legend than fact. Do you know this happened or only heard the same story I heard?

  There was this one new boy that got jumped walking to the squib building from the 124, by 2 thugs. It guess he was a black belt before coming into the borg. He kick their asses one guy was dragging the other guy back to their car and begging him to stop the beating. He went to George Couch Bethel home overseer, the next day to turn himself in, George said don't worry about it. He was our hero, we loved him.

  a few years after i quit the meetings my mum needed her medical directive signed and witnessed and she asked if i'd do it.

  i was surprised to say the least!.

  i think she was just angling to include me and maybe find some lever to get me involved again.

  My story is not as dramatic as some, but hear it goes.

  My father was near the end of his life. His kidneys shut down and was undergoing dialysis. It was apparent that he was anemic and needed a transfusion. I talked with the nurse and explained that my father grew up a witness and would not want blood at this point in his life.

  I decided to intervene out of respect for him. There was little downside to the decision, his time was limited and if blood helped sustain his life it would have been only for an extra few days.

  The year A.D. 1878 … clearly marks the time for the actual assuming of power as King of kings

  The 1878 date was ignored and everyone forgot, died, or both. Something tells me in a few years 1914 will be ignored and the GB will simply wait for everyone to forget and die.
