i would like to say that i have reached the point of "master member".

i know it doesnt mean much to some but to me.. it makes me happy and i hope that some of my posts have made other people smile and feel good as their's have to me.. thanks for all your help everyone.. and simon, thanks to you also.. kelps who is now a master member!!.

i just had a question.....a rant is intertwined as well (sorry) .

when i was in the jw's, i noticed so many "new one'z" and "interested one'z" who were nicely dressed people.

many were fairly well-groomed, the women & girls with nice stylish fashion taste.

razor, be careful in how you plant those seeds for now. Her world is already a scary and depressing one to her. Finding out it was all a lie may drive her over the edge. Talk to her doctor about the best approach, the doctor can probably tell you if she is ready to handle it yet.

Where Have All The Pretty Women Gone?

to explain: i recall in the 60's and 70's driving down portsmouths commercial road during a lunch time.

in the summer, there would be dozens of pretty girls strolling along, enjoying their lunch breaks.. high-heeled, well groomed and shapely of leg and well turned ankle, these delightful creatures smelled as good as they looked and were a real tonic to an over worked young man such as me.. so where are all the pretty women now?

all i see these days are skinny women with their boobies pushed up to their chins and half a pound of shrapnel punched through their noses and ears.

i just turned this weather channel on and they are talking about tenn. , are there other states that got hit hard?

(((((outnfree))))) All is fine here, thank you! . Some of the storms were northeast of here but not by much. We have some friends with property damage. I am waiting for Tink to contact me with her phone number again (I lost her number when I killed my cell phone). I don't think their area was hit too bad, although the winds were pretty strong. ( My boss lives down in that area too).

Cult books for JWS

i recently purchased "combatting cult mind control" the book by steve hassen and found it very enlightening.

upon the conclusion of that book i did realise once and for all that i was indeed a victim of mind control and that the organisation of jehovahs witnesses certainly qualifies as a "destructive cult" the book was of special interest to me, beacuse it was not written by an ex jw , but by an ex moonie, thus the information is not biased, being particularly written for ex jws.

the similarities of the dubs and the moonies are quite eerie, although there are some differences.

Shera- Many local bookstores can order the book for you as well. It usually takes about a week to get them in. I also enjoyed The Kingdom of the Cults by Walter Martin.
