there are several scriptures that say the moon will turn blood red and the sun will be darkened before armageddon takes place.. i have seen many red moons.
they were astoundingly beautiful, but the nag of superstitious words can prevent one from enjoying the beauty of this phenomenon.. we know today that the "red moon" is caused by dust particles in the atmosphere.
these particles can also cause a "blue moon",too.. in the past, red moons have been caused by lunar eclipse as well as volcanic ash in the atmosphere.. in the "ancient days" i suppose certain civilizations saw this phenomenon as a "bad omen" because they had no explanation for it.
It's vague, but I remember talk of the nations arguing over the moon and going to war. I think that this was even said from the platform. In the older days when I was going to meetings, there was latitude on what could be said in "talks". Some brothers added their own twists ("embellishments"). If not from the platform, I recall this being discussed and maybe in used in FS.
Around the time of the moon landings, this was particularly bandied about.

how is it that when searching for jehovahs witnesses or watchtower in google their official websites always comes first?.
do they have to pay to get these results?
if they are paying then is this not another example of hypocrisy after telling the "sheep" not to use the internet but then spending the "sheeps" donations on maintaining an internet presence?.
When I attended the "Stores on Line" seminars, they spent a lot of time telling us how to score higher ratings. It did not involve paying anybody. The details escape me, but registering/being recognized by various search engines was the top priority.

the hebrew word 'shekinah' is never mentioned in the bible.. the shekinah is said to be the "majestic manifestation of god which has descended to dwell with mankind.".
the shekinah appeared as a cloudy pillar in the day and a fiery pillar at night.
the nation of moses was led by the shekinah for 40 years.. the word shekinah is taken from passages referring to god dwelling in the tabernacle among the people.
The space craft was noisy and fiery just like our rockets today.

I use the Samuel Bagster printing of the Septuagint and Green's Interlinear. Both are Greek and all I ever see is Kyrios.
I need for my collection copies of the Emphatic Diaglott ( I learned the Greek alphabet will enough to read Greek from the ED), a Kingdom Interlinear and the old NWT's before the lime green one. I particularly want the "fat NWT". And if there are 2 KI's, I want them both???

R U referring to the Kingdom Interlinear thing? A relative of mine, while fading like hell, decided to have a Family Bible Study, as 'head of the household'. For whatever reason ( ), he, wife and son read the INTRODUCTION to the Kingdom Interlinear (purple?; I've never had one).
Somewhere in the Intro, it states (stated?: I've heard it got changed?) that (paraphrasing, something to the effect of...) "while the name Jehovah doesn't occur in the MSS, we put it in because we think it should be there...". He knew this bombshell was in there and that's the reason he did this.
I'm still interested in this, enough to want a copy of the KI and the original edition, if it got changed.
