  anybody else? my letter about changing the bible to suit their fancy was answered with a letter that said they would "be happy to assist my local elders with more info. if needed"....so we asked for it expressing the need...and gotta...nadda!.....they would not answer anymore questions on the subject....a direct lie.......anybody else had it so personal?

  i was inspired to write this by an earlier post (by tired of the hypocrisy as to the reasons why we left. mine was a combo of years of doubts (damn those stupid anti-type years), the generations changes (thanks for ruining my college years and early retirement), then discovering they changed the frikkin bible and added the name jehover 237 times without any good reason...and ya...they refused to answer my letter with any honest answers..................................oompa....been real busy lately all

  hell no!...esp the younger ones who wrote them back for me requesting more info! they did not get shit...nada...they also did not like that i was repeatedly told not to tell anyone else about the matter cause it could hurt others faith????? if it was the frikkin truth about the bible and how they had changed it......how the fluck could it hurt anyones faith??...and i said...hell i thought when we found out a truff, we were not to hide it under a basket, but let the fluckkin light shine!! needless to say...i have few of my old friends............oompa

  ps...none of my good ol elder friends had the spine to take a stand though....but they did not df me for apostacy...even though i was blatent!

  R U referring to the Kingdom Interlinear thing? A relative of mine, while fading like hell, decided to have a Family Bible Study, as 'head of the household'. For whatever reason ( ), he, wife and son read the INTRODUCTION to the Kingdom Interlinear (purple?; I've never had one).

  Somewhere in the Intro, it states (stated?: I've heard it got changed?) that (paraphrasing, something to the effect of...) "while the name Jehovah doesn't occur in the MSS, we put it in because we think it should be there...". He knew this bombshell was in there and that's the reason he did this.

  I'm still interested in this, enough to want a copy of the KI and the original edition, if it got changed.

  Outlaw...the jeep is done! but still have a problem with my new Webber carb....looks great, but runs way too rich....it is driving me nuts and I am going to have to have it re-jetted...very dissapointing for a new $400.00 carb.

  Mustang......I have the purple bible, but Appendix 1-D in the NWT (reference bible for sure) explains things very deceitfully...it is a good read but seems to indicate that the NWT only "restores the divine name when quoting from the Hebrew Scriptures".......but it does NOT tell you that they have added it in many other places. What really pisses me off is that they think it is ok to "restore" the name cause some whacky folks who wanted to convert Jews centuries ago added the name.....these are the dreaded "J" versions that are listed in the first few pages of the NWT Reference Bible. Every time the name Jehovah is added in it, there is a foot note with all the J 1-28 nutcase bibles added there too.

  Just because other whackos in the Dark Ages changed the Bible is such a PATHETIC reason for JW's to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!................oompa

  anybody ever see a frikkin "J" version anwhwere??? maybe your kingdum hall library??? ever ask a dub what those "J" versions are in all those footnotes???? (none of my elders ever even noticed them!!!)

  I use the Samuel Bagster printing of the Septuagint and Green's Interlinear. Both are Greek and all I ever see is Kyrios.

  I need for my collection copies of the Emphatic Diaglott ( I learned the Greek alphabet will enough to read Greek from the ED), a Kingdom Interlinear and the old NWT's before the lime green one. I particularly want the "fat NWT". And if there are 2 KI's, I want them both???

  I would appreciate SPECIFC edition details on the Bibles you are referring to...
