a bethel insider in the know told me that all of the child abuse lawsuits where the watchtower bible and tract society was one of the defendants were settled back in the beginning of this year.

i questioned it and called napa myself and they were absolutely settled back then.

can you see yourself with someone nearly 20 years your junior?i happen to work with a young woman who is 19 years my junior.

she is 21 and i am 40 years old.

My 40 year old pioneer partner (1993) married the 20 year old son of one of our friends. I tried my best to talk her out of it. To no avail, they got married, by a judge, no one else would do it, she quit pioneering, and the marriage lasted about 10 years total. The last several they lived together but were estranged.

In the end, he was not grown up yet and she was getting old.

If the reverse were the case, male to female, I would still say to think long and thoroughly. 20 is terribly young, especially to focus on an older man, no matter how great he is.

Juni said it all. I could never be attracted seriously to someone the age of my kids. Of course you can be attracted, but just don't act on it.

10 years ago, when I was slim and 50, I had lots of guys in their 30's hitting on me, when I traveled for work. I asked one, who notoriously hooked up with older women, why he did that. He shrugged his shoulders, so I asked if he was close to his mother............he had a horrified look on his face and said he was very close to her, but it was like it had just occurred to him that I was her age.

I asked if older women were safe because they couldn't get pregnant. He said that was a real possibility. He was very attractive and I was extremely flattered, but he was a cad, with a lovely wife and two little boys.

Lots of people exaggerate and stretch the truth to make a point. The truth is still there, nonetheless.

Oh, and even if someone did win in court, you know how much publicity it would get?
NOT MUCH.
You know why?
BECAUSE NO ONE CARES THE HELL ABOUT JWS OTHER THAN JWS AND EX-JWS.

Wife finally sees truth about "the truth"

well it has finally happened.my wife is not going back to the meetings again.as you would probably read in my previous posts, i have written a book about my experience in the watchtower organisation which is on the verge of being published.she still tried to cling to what little belief she had in the borg and did not want to read my manuscript.we discussed many of the issues and concerns i had about the watchtower but most of the times it ended in a heated argument.. i was quite surprised when she approached me about two weeks ago and asked to read my manuscript.after reading it she handed it back to me and said she fully supports me in publishing this book.her eyes have been opened to the deception and lies.i think she and a friend had a bad experience calling on one of her so-called jw friends.furthermore, she did not attend this past weekends circuit assembly..

hooray!!!.

all i have to do now is to introduce her to all you wonderful people here on jwd.. jakes.

Paris Hilton headed to prison

i wonder if she will do a "simple life - prison style"... of course it will be one of those "women in prison" movies that are shown on late night cable.

I was very happy to hear she was getting justice. Even her rich, influential Mommy and Daddy couldn't save her. I just hope she really does have to go to jail. It will be good for her, and maybe teach her a thing or two. Imagine, no cell phone, no make up, no booze,..........she can find out what a real person has to do to pay the consequences of their actions.

my son, karl, and his girlfriend, sarah, have just had a baby boy!

sarah gave birth to jack yesterday - a may day baby .

claire and i are going over to see them all this evening.

That is exciting news. Yes, it's a big baby, but our first, born when I was 18, was 10 pounds 4 ounces. Now that's an ouch!!

Enjoy him.............grandkids are the best, one of the best parts of parenting.
