The New Elder School, Did It Really Help Teach You Something Helpful?

it appears much of the information the elders learned, went in one ear out the other, a failure to implent it.

Is true faith possible?
by freshstart ini still feel the need to worship and the desire for faith, but having been raised as a jw and not knowing anything else, i just feel confused and lost as far as faith goes.
sometimes i think that maybe their isn't a god, i just don't know......

Religions, and merchants don't hold power over the world; it's the military.
There would be fewer organizations looking over the authorities shoulders.

talk by a visiting zone overseer.
and a talk by the gb.. it will be "approx 2 1/2 hours in length.

The double-speak translation goes something like this: “Just because your here, don't think that you can debate us. We'll use you since your not interested in the world.”

Any meetings that the R&F aren't invited to was a constant source of, “in your face” you “nobody’s”! It didn't matter how unimportant it was, the clique in all the halls around the area were notorious in this bashing opportunity! It would go on comment after comment, meeting after meeting! It's a true cultic technique of “religious abuse” by unchristian bullies. It was their power play, a way of saying: “We're better than you, because we'll be in paradise; and you flock we wont share all the secrets with you!”

My family went to the special assembly after 9/11, and were also wondering: “What was that all about?” Nothing! Even the last talk by a member of the GB left peoples scratching their heads! So this is very common, as many here have posted on another thread to this fact.

As for us who once served it; we were honest towads God, and were trying to serve Jesus.
Since Watchtower's GB tricked us, they stand guilty before the Christ;
and our actions are held accountable after we realize this. For the GB, it's a negitive direction;
but if we as individuals switch sides to Yehuwah, we'll receive positive directions from Him.
