You know I noticed that before. Here in USA a lot of very vicious crimes ... children killing their parents with bats, stabbings, just vicious staff people do when they cannot take it anymore ... they just snap ... when I read the news I feel sorry for all involved .. it takes a exJW to understand their family dynamics ...

by smiddy inwhy dont you look up on the internet crimes comitted by jehovah`s witnesses , i think you will be very surprised.the majority of cases are comitted by dedicated baptised witnesses , not newly interested ones that you can excuse away.and the crimes range from anything minor to outright murder .. and remember ,jehovahs witnesses are only a minority religion and yet crimes comitted by them far outstrip the national average.. i`m sorry i cant put up the links .i`d appreciate it if someone can .thanks heaps.. smiddy.

I had NO idea about the letter to Hitler......
by Flg8ter inthis was brand new to me........did some research, like we're not supposed to do ;) and dug up crazy stuff that i had no idea about.
my whole life we were taught have bad and evil "christendom" was for trying to pacify hiter during his rise to power, and how different we were for standing up to him!.
then i found about the letter dated june 25,1933 from rutherford and his writting team to hiter.

i wanted to know if anyone knows which watchtower articles speak about working with or for a disfellowshipped person.
it would appear that there is now a huge witch hunt regarding this because of my recent situation.

Oh Lord, they mix religion with business all the time ... in the long run perhaps this is a blessing in disguise ... I know how hard it is to look for good experienced employees but if you do everything from your heart you will not be wrong and everything will work out for the good. Let the crazy people go. Erase all traces of this cult from your life little by little ... as much as it hurt I have counted as losses all my JWs relatives and I do not consider any JWs my acquaintance or friend and God forbid business associates ... all that part of my life story is in God's hand. Been there, done that, case closed.

Former L T Elder- Head Quarters & Great Tribulation

the speaker said twice that project was for building the "world head quarters"!
then he added twice; that the "great tribulation" cannot start to after the "world head quarters" is built!

If you don't believe in God where do you get the strength to cope?

some of you do not believe in god.
some are not sure.. i was told recently by a friend to pray to god for help and he would comfort me.. my first impulse is to pray.

You have to rediscover LIFE ... if you think about it, it can be actually exciting! A chance to start again, a do-over, to acquire a new set of thinking skills ...when I was on this rediscovering life road I really think a higher power was leading me to read certain stuff that it was necessary for me, I remember crying while reading the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (can you believe that?) ... I believe with all my heart on those rights and I defend them with all my heart and soul having Jesus by my side now.

I am also so thankful and proud of myself that I went to a doctor when I had depression and prescribed some meds for me that worked wonders. Chemical imbalances are for real!
It takes time Miss.Fit but it is a road worth taking, you may discover that you were a misfit in that CULT because you belong to the human race, you are a child of the Most High God girlfriend!!!! We have freewill and you don't have to worship God if you don't want to, this doesn't keep God from giving you freely from his creation, from making available to you all the raw material necessary for you to make your dreams come true.
Hang in there ... life IS beautiful ... one day you will look back and will be so proud of yourself because you came a long way ... just BELIEVE that you are worth it!!!!

The Bible and it's promise of Heaven and various other things
by confusedandalone innow in no way am i trying to discredit anyones beliefs or make fun, but once you get to heaven what is the plan once you get there.. of course, we always overlay extremely physical things upon the experience of heaven... milk and honey... ruiling over the earth etc... truthful the whole idea sounds so boring / mundane /monotonous.
spending all of eternity serving god by carry messages here and there?.
watching humans... i guess spending time with family that are also there and reminiscing.

I don't know if you were born/raised JW ... I was ... the heavenly life within Christianity is more than all those urban legends/myths we hear, or the bashing of it we heard from the Watchtower CORPORATION, ... it is a deeper revelation by the Holy Spirit and only then you will understand, get and make yours by FAITH (of course this type of FAITH comes by hearing AND hearing the Christ) (1Corinthians 2). You got to have the revelation of Jesus first, he is THE WAY otherwise you will always get Christianity without the Christ and your knowledge will always be confusing, one needs to be taught by the Holy Spirit, a personal relationship with GOD and He will teach you all the inscrustable things - they will come straight to your heart and you will just know ...
Don't let a CORPORATION destroy a Higher Power in your life, and I don't necessarily mean God if you just at that point of hating everything God because of that cult, I used to curse, vomit at just the mention of God, I thought maybe I had a demon inside me (their indoctrination) don't let that CORPORATION make you like that ... I was there once and I totally understand you, but truly I was not happy. You don't have to believe in God, the bible or Christian beliefs, millions of people don't and they are okay but don't let a CORPORATION mold your life from now on. GOD Creator is with all and for all mankind!
