  a controversial subject that hasn't been talked about here for 10 years (or so it seems on my quick search).. .

  i think it's wrong to spay or neuter.

  i bet most of you will disagree.. my vet just called me an irresponsible owner for refusing to have my cat spayed..

  in the past few months i have been putting together emails that focus on the conti trial and all involved, the affiliation of the jw's w/ hitler, the u.n., and now osce, and misc questions and objections that i have had for years.

  i send them out thru an email address that "big mama" initiated for only this purpose.

  my intent (which i try to make clear to the recipients) is to educate: "this is information you will not find in any of the wtb&ts publications, in fact they prefer you never know these things" is a common line in my emails.

  the criminal record you received is terrible in itself, but i wanted to ask if it has affected whether or not you could get a passport.

  so there was this great gang of us, from south london, manchester and wolverhampton, went to socialise with a group in fishguard in wales.. amongst the conversations one of the single sisters stated, "i could never marry anybody who used to be in the world".. i guess a lifetime of knocking on doors had given her the impression there couldnt possibly be a convert in her midst, never mind later alone with her in her mgb.. so whats with this, did you think we had rat scabies or were possesed by demons or something?.

  Personally I disliked converts. They loved to tell us born-ins about how much fun they had in the world doing drugs or what not. Of course the followed it up with how sick and disgusting the world is.

  Most converts I met had a lot of attitude/superiorty about how far they changed. They dont get the daily grind of being a witness kid. No flag, friends, or birthday parties for us.

  A sure sign the End is Near....

  the end of the month, that is, and someone apparently needs to get their hours in.... this resourceful jw (in the left side of the photo) set up shop for a few hours outside a local starbucks, with a wt and awake laid out on a table.

  and i i don't think he talked to anyone the whole time he was out there (a few hours).. sure beats all that walking from door-to-door, which would likely result in a bunch of not-at-homes on a weekday: most people are at work.. (i approached him when entering, and asked him about the parable of faithful and "discreet" slave, and asked him what he thought the difference was between a parable and prophecy.

  after getting a non-answer (that basically meant he didn't know), i wished him a good morning and went on my way.... .

  i think personally, the judge was wanting to mainly see how the watchtower society would answer them.

  he said he would have a decision by the 25th august.

  so needless to say, everyone is nervously waiting for the day he decides.

  Aparently I should have done 20 jumping jacks to keep the verdict from being ruduced. Next time..

  This case is actually going along nicely. The verdict reduction just takes away one more issue when it goes up for apeals.

  Those who identify themselves or are identified as witnesses are different from those who practice. On a cencus I could claim the 8 people in my house are JW but we know the retention rates of kids are a different thing. I am not suprised to see growth in a second world Catholic country. In time they will get the internet and it will curtail things.
