jw's make much of calling god jehovah as if somehow this makes them better than us.
do we call our mother's by their legal name?
if you do or do not does that make the other less a son or daughter of god?.
My parents would consider me disrespectful if I call them by their first name. I took advantage of this reasoning and made ??them rethink as to call our Heavenly Father for His name. They understood perfectly.

I know pretty well what you mean. For some JW God's name is a llike a lucky charm.
i apologize if this is old news or has already been discussed, but i notice the society has posted a video commenting on the annual meeting and the adjusted understanding of matthew 24:45 on jw.org.. here is the link.... http://www.jw.org/en/news/events-activities/video-clip-2012-annual-meeting-program/.
thoughts?.
cedars.
Would not surprise me in the near future new light arose that the 144,000 are a literal number, but of members of the governing body. That way they prepare the ground for the WT to continue dominating the JW's for centuries.

They do not need eye protection. They are already blind!!!!
would you have not taken a blood transfusion or a transplant because the gb said it was bad?.
would you have imitated the jws in concentration camps and died for your beliefs?.
I was prepared to die, but 14 years ago my youngest son, with autism, had a liver problem and he was treated at Children's Hospital in Boston.
The doctors considered with me the possibility of liver surgery and I told them of our rejection of blood. The doctor told me that in a case like this I would lose his custody. Actually after thinking about it just a little I told the doctor that if my son needed blood, I was willing to give mine. Thank God there was no need to go that far. His liver improved and there was no need of surgery.
Now after knowing the TTATT not even for myself I would reject blood if is being an issue of life and death.
in both question and statement form, one word thats overused to the point of nausea is truly.
- is that truly the case?
got new for whoever is asking; either that is the case or that is not the case.
TRULY...?????
i'm 45 years old and i was raised as a jw.
i left the "truth" two years ago, but i am not disfellowshipped.
any of you ever voted being an active jw?
I've thought of Christian neutrality as the WT teaches. John 6:15 is one of the arguments of the WT to stay out of the politics of this world (John 6:15: Perceiving then That They Were About to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus Withdrew again to the mountain by himself.)
The fact is that Jesus had a specific job to do and limited time. His kingdom was not of this world. We are in this world, at least for now, and I think that exercising the right to vote to find some better living conditions, as are our ideals, it has nothing to do with failure to exercise faith in Jesus. I think there is nothing wrong in exercising this right.
Now, though, never do something that is against your conscience. If you have doubts is better don't do it. Blessings to all.
