  education was strongly discouraged among the witnesses.

  i am curious as to how many of you went on for further education and in what fields.

  i will go ahead and list the ones i already know.. larc - advanced degrees in organizational psychology.

  gravedancer; are you expecting promotion to LtCol?

  After being an uninspired student, I quit HS to join the military. Received Electronics training that I promptly forgot. After release, I prefered to work with my hands and became a Toolmaker. I have attended various institutions of higher learning, only to pass the time or to study something interesting to me. I have done OK, I have a paid for house and a spare tire around my middle. At 54 I don't expect much from this world, and am rarely disapointed in what I receive.

  Siberian Husky - what a beautiful dog

  I owned a Siberian many years ago. VERY good temperament, always a "happy" dog, good around other people and especially kids. Not particularly a good watchdog or overly protective. All around GREAT dog for fun.

  HI Refiner; The pages[138-190] in vol 3, are these from a original printing? I have single vol. reprint[1-6&Shadows] and the page numbers you give start at study 6[the work of harvest]. Is this the correct starting point that you refer to?

  Alleymom; I think that the"finished mystery" was published after Russell's death and usually is not found with his writings. I have seen copies of this for sale on EBAY.
