  YouTube Videos exposing JW organization are growing in popularity by the day.

  And I am amazed at the quality of the people presenting the videos. They are intelligent, well spoken, know the Organization, and make lots of sense. I honestly believe that Watchtower is losing it's very best people.

  I can't nearly keep up with them all - I'll have to check out TellTale Athiest since I've never heard of him/her.

  I believe that Watchtower, trying to fight against the internet, is demonstrating that the leaders realize the religion extremely vulnerable. They know, in my opinion, that they don't have the *truth* and are merely trying to survive as a viable religion.

  Taking down Youtubes and other information is a losing battle for them, but they would lose faster if they didn't do it. The JW speaker in the video is arguing against such behavior, but that is typical of Jehovah's Witness double talk - say one thing for public effect, then do the opposite.

  we have a lot of newbies who deserve to know what the society actually printed.. yes really.

  after meticulous research here are the documented scientific pronouncements from the wtbt$.. note: the golden age became the awake magazine.. the reference twtp is the way to paradise a 1924 book by w. e. van amburgh, who was the secretary/treasurer of the watchtower bible & tract society for 43 years.

  ...at no time would any CEO or company head of a massive corp be readily available just to chat with a walk-in without a formal appt.

  Romy made a stunning point when she said that JWs spend thousands and thousands of hrs (actually it's millions of hrs) worldwide going to people's doors expecting the house holders to talk to them, yet here Romy was at the world headquarters of JWs and she could not get one single person to speak with her.

  This shows an extreme double standard on the part of JWs, and it's coming from the very top of the Organization.

  Medical prohibitions leading to documented loss

  other than general cases involving blood prohibitions...are you aware of instances of jws or exjws who have suffered health issues as a result of obedience to wts medical dictates?.

  i'm thinking specifically of those who were denied vaccinations or organ transplants and i would also include those who were denied hemophelac preparations from 1975 - 1978.. any known or documented examples would be appreciated..

  There is another side to this. It brings to mind another medical prohibition that has caused suffering for some - not being allowed to use a Nicotine Patch (I think it's called). Some people use them to help to break the smoking habit, but Watchtower prohibited their use years ago, saying we must rely on "holy spirit" to give up tobacco.

  Some could not break the habit and were disfellowshipped. There are some people who can't cope with being shunned and isolated which sometimes leads to suicide.

  I doubt there is any way that deaths from banning the Nicotine Patch can be tracked, but it's another harmful Watchtower medical directive.

    Nice! I did not know there were 3 kinds of imminents with various spellings and different meanings. This place gives you a better education than reading 4 years of the Awake!

  Who, or What do they really "worship"?

  Good question. I believe that the Organization, (jw dot org), is the golden calf that JWs really worship. Tagging Jehovah's name on to their religion is simply a sales pitch.
