  i've uploaded a video that discusses the dramatic jury verdict regarding the abuse suffered by candace conti, of which you are all aware.

  I just saw the video and like it alot. Despite a small technical point or two, the video is excellent because it gets to the points of what happened in Coti's case, what the Watchtower policies are that contributed to her molestation (keeping a known pedophile secret from the congregation, thus endangering other children), and does so in a non-sensational, docuentary-like fashion.

  I honestly believe this video would get my attention if I was an active Witnesses.

  The quality of the writing and narration are superb!

  Hello Cedars,

  "There were a few cut outs when everything went silent mid-sentence."

  Unfortunately there were about 5 or 6 of those from the beginning of the broadcast until Simons' segment ended. Some sort a a technical glitch, as Rick Fearon kept saying.

  "Then there's the old guy who keeps interjecting."

  That was Richard Rawe, a long-time fighter of Watchtower injustice . Today I read that he was disfellowshipped in 1975. His harsh sounding voice is an after effect of a stroke.

  Edit. Slimboyfat, you beat me to the Richard Rawe part. Thanks for the Apocalypse Delayed information .

  Attorney Rick Simons was on for about 45 min. Listening to him was a pleasure.

  As to the upcoming appeals, he said he would much rather be on Candace Coti's side than Wathtower's. Is that the requisite posturing of an attorney? We'll see. We'll probably be following this for years to come.

  Note to Rick Fearon:

  You have an amazing radio voice, easy to listen to, gripping, and you know how to keep a conversation going.

  You could be a major force for good in the fight against Watchtower. From reading this forum, it seems to be your sensationalism and shock-jock approach that has turned people off of your cause.

  If you would consider a slight change in tactic, and stick with real information that people can relate to, you would be a giant to be reconned with in exposing the wrongs of the WTBTS.

  rick simons, candace conti's attorney, will be interviewed on the six screens of the watchtower conference phone line this evening.

  there's a good chance that candace will join in, but that's not set in stone.

  the host of the program, rick, told me to tell everybody that he is learning how to calm down and to do better on these conference calls.
