It is official they're selling off Kingdom Halls in Britain

i posted here a week ago some disturbing news for congregations being consolidated in britain.

my goodness that was nothing !

a letter was read today from bethel addressed to all congregations in britain that can only be described as the biggest news for years.the main points:.

Erm..... Remember that recent new USA wide request of a minimum monthly pledge from every member because of all the kingdom halls to be built.......and now, what two months later, the UK has an opposite request, selling them all off and squishing 4 congregations into one.

Does God have old age dementia?

Does God hate brits?

Is this new new light?

Is the chariot in reverse?

Are the current members so lacking in courage that they humble themselves still. before the mighty hand of an obvious financial con?

Walk away people, while you have a chance to start a pension.....

Science is right in its details, but wrong in its direction

science observes, studies and analyses the basic nature of all the components constituting the part of any experiment, follows the principle of cause and effect, and come out with equipments that would contribute to our comfort and save us lots of time and energyall of which are ultimately aimed at making life on this earth happier, longer and healthier, thus making this world a better place to live.. yet man day-by-day becomes more and more unhappy and discontented, and world is becoming bitter and bitter!

it means: though science is right in its details, it has gone wrong in its direction.

it failed to rightly judge and assess the true nature of its prime object (man) for whom it works.

Humankind has never lived so well, been so secure, been so healthy, had such quality of life, been so safe...

Your view of the world could not be more alien to what most people think. It is a false image the Watchtower sold you as do many religions,and you have not questioned.

Name just one year in history when life was better than it is now........

The old men that run watchtower live as all aged humans, with yearning for their youths. That melancholy for today's world was suffocating as a JW and it was also untrue. The world hasn't gone mad, our grandparents grew up on world wars, mass pandmedics and atom bombs. The Victorians had war, disease and the industrial revolution that offered living conditions and quality of life from hell.... Shall I continue? ....

comment from an uber dub regarding the $13.5 sex abuse case will just blow you away.

i was talking to an uber dub friend last night who lives in the san diego area.

he knew nothing of the $13.5 million dollar law suit.

when i tried to tell him that this is a systemic problem, and that this could perhaps be the tip of the ice burgh.

Briliant guys, I have prepared the questions and done some early work on it. I really need to see some more heavy hitters from the forum get involved though. People happy to be seen and heard. Those that want to disguise themselves, that's totally fine, but we need some visible people,too, let them see we are normal, nicel good intentioned, let them see us and hear that we felt the same we did and what happens when you dare to question, dare to leave.

It was worth leaving the JE's, life is so much better and my only regret is that I didn't do it earlier..... People,need to hear that From us all.

I would like to make a documentary with help from the same technology that got me free of Watchtower, namely the internet. Also via the same people that helped me leave, namely...you lot!

I want to make THE documentary that JW's find when they Google JW.ORG. A long documentary with nothing but people talking from their hearts about what they experienced and pouring out all the information we wish we had as a JW.

I have written a set of questions, if you would like to record yourself answering the questions, let me know about your interest. I would much appreciate it.

I would release the video on YouTube for free and it will cover all the major topics disussed here.

Could I have a look see who would be interested In partaking?

I would ask that everyone buy a cheap HD web cam (20$) and a microphone to ensure a minimum standard of quality, but if you really can't afford it we could sort something.

so what are you doing to enjoy yourself?

doesn't have to be for anyone around you, or have anything to do with jw world.

just something that you do for you and only you and that fills your soul (whatever that means).

Learning new things.

I realised what that feeling was when I look up at the stars, see a mountain vista, watch the ocean...... In the presence of such apparent infinity we appear so very finite. The subconscious triggers fear, awe and motivation all at once. Time is precious.

I know I will die with questions about the universe that will never be answered. We will possibly know those answers some day and we will all be gone. This post may remain somewhere but we will not.

This all motivates me to learn as much as I can. I am intrigued by the questions and get excited by the answers.

Jehovah's Witnesses are the only people who don't practice war and who preach worldwide!

this is what somebody has been telling me, trying to convince me aside from anything one can say or cause reason for doubt, as the evidence that they are the true religion and true people of god.

they are convinced because while 'all other' christian and other religions support war, troops, etc, jw's don't and they are the only one's who carry god's name and preach.

nothing else matters.

I would go back to them with the RAND CAM financial records from the American SEC which show The Watchtower and Tract society owning the majority of shares in a military company, specifically a NAVY funded company that built stealthy quiet engines for drones and underwater vehicles.

I showed it to my friend, he wrote to bethel and they admitted owning it but claimed they owned it in error.

Next I would show them 'The Decleration of Facts' a famous letter from Rutherford to Hitler that no Jw knows about. simply google it. It was sent as a pamphlet and also written in a yearbook back in the early 20th century. They even apologised for the anti-semitism in a Watchtower article in the 90's, right before they made a claim for some funding from the European holocaust fund.

Here have a taste....

"The greatest and most oppressive empire on earth is the Anglo-American empire. By that is meant the British Empire, of which the United States of America forms a part. It has been the commercial Jews of the British-American empire that have built up and carried on Big Business as a means of exploiting and oppressing the peoples of many nations. This fact particularly applies to the cities of London and New York, the stronghold of Big Business. This fact is so manifest in America that there is a proverb concerning the city of New York which says: 'The Jews own it, the Irish Catholics rule it, and the Americans pay the bills.' We have no fight with any of these persons mentioned, but, as the witnesses for Jehovah and in obedience to his commandment set forth in the Scriptures, we are compelled to call attention to the truth concerning the same in order that the people may be enlightened concerning God and his purpose."

"The present government of Germany has declared emphatically against Big Business oppressors and in opposition to the wrongful religious influence in the political affairs of the nation. Instead, therefore, of our literature and our work's being a menace to the principles of the present government we are the strongest supporters of such high ideals."

Many religions preach, some even door to door, but most think going door to door is overtly forward and inefficient. Street preaching and preaching from the pulpit has long been mechanisms of teaching in religions, only now being re-adopted by Watchtower. Watchtower have only had a public orientated magazine for a few years, study editions of the Watchtower and the shallow, patronising Awake have been useless in informing people.

As for pacifism, there are religions built around pacifism.

So there is one religion out there,that preaches constantly and does not go to war. it is ironically and worryingly the closest religion I have seen to the Watchtower. jW's look at this group and know that they share much so pretend to not notice them....The Westboro Baptist Church does not go to war and preaches!

As a JW I was supporting the ultimate war, the ultimate slaughter of most of mankind, by praying for and supporting the idea of a god returning to destroy everyone that didn't bow down. Screw that !
