The old alcohol demon....

I have posted several stories about myself and alcohol. I have also resisted any organized meetings. I had enough of that as a JW.

I believe I am an alcoholic, although I have not admitted it until very recently. December the 9th I will be sober for three months?

I have had some physical problems in the past from the alcohol abuse. Earlier this year I began to have problems with my feet. They are sore all the time. My doctor finally sent me to a specialist, he has determinded that I have peripheral neuropathy. The pain begins early in the day and somedays I have a hard time just standing? Some days I have pain in my hands as well, not as extreme as in my feet.

I wish I had listened to everyone years ago when I started to have some stomach aches from the abuse?

I have not been a strong abuser, just a few drinks a day but for many years I have drank each and every day?

If you could stand on my feet just for a few days you would stop drinking without any meetings or outside help!

ALCOHOL is very sneaky.....once the habit has begun almost any person is in for a struggle to stop....and in the United States it is on every corner and legal.....

So How Bad Is The World REALLY?

in the uk, if you drop a wallet in the road in error, what are the chances of it being handed in to a police station by the finder with all the contents still intact?.

when i read that in the times some weeks ago, i was very skeptical.

then i thought of all the people that i know, friends, aquaintances and pub pals, and i reckon that 90% of them are basically honest with their fellow man.

Great points....

I never did buy the idea that only Jehovah's Witnesses were going to be saved at the end of this system of things. It just doesn't seem right. I mean all of the people in the world aren't worthy, come on just ain't right?.

And to think that a baby dies and the only way it gets a resurection is if it's parents are doing their best in the truth? I tried to explain that one time to a non believer that had just lost their son at age five and it just doesn't fly.

The details in all religions just don't make sense. It is as if they are trying to make it fit some man made canned idea?

Maybe, I have never really been a JW?

i cried for a long time today, very deeply, sobbing heavily for those i have lost in my life.

mostly due to watchtower rules.. i am developing a new set of bear friends and look forward to good times with them.. the suicidal thoughts have subsided.. i have never really tried to make a concrete set of friends here.

i think its time to do so.

I am freaked out now??

my friend for thirty years in jacksonville died this weekend on a trip to upper new york state?

he was a really nice guy, not in the main stream of dubs, if you know what i mean?

he went very quick.....heart attack....!!!

My friend for thirty years in Jacksonville died this weekend on a trip to upper New York state? He was a really nice guy, not in the main stream of DUBS, if you know what I mean? He went very quick.....heart attack....!!! We tallked about death some and both wanted to go quickly?

He was a fireman and para-medic for thirty five years, and saved many lives while just doing his duty? He and his crew went to New York during 911 to help for several weeks!

I feel I have to go to his funeral. I am not good at funerals, at all? I am real pain over his death, he is the closest person to me to ever die while I have been an adult.
