  I haven't read all the comments yet but I must say this really doesn't make alot of sense. I pride myself on having pretty good reading comprehension skills, but this really baffles me. I'm not sure what they are trying to say....but maybe that's it they really aren't trying to say anything. They are just trying to dazzle us with their bullshit (pardon my french).

  Memorial Supper - A child's perspective

  at the memorial supper, i took along my little daughter, nearly 6. she's not familiar with kingdom halls and what's going on there.

  to make her comfortable, i let her bring a favourite "teddy bear", actuallay a cow.. she found it very peculiar that the bread and wine was passed from hand to hand without anyone eating or drinking.

  she asked a lot and i tried to explain.

  Jews for Jesus

  i've done a little research since leaving the wts and am having difficulting sorting out what i really believe in.

  after some studying of different faiths and their doctrines, i find i can relate to the jewish faith....but i do believe in jesus.

  so i found out about this faith called jews for jesus.

  Just educate your kids about the fallacies of the JW's. As your husband is educating them you show them the real truth. And have a bible study with them yourself ( a real bible study in the bible not with a publication- pick a topic study a little about it and then share it with them. You will learn and so will they.

  What do you think is the worlds worst movie ever m

  i am watching what i think is the dumbest movie ever put on film,the quick and the dead.

  sharon stone (who i think looks great with no panties) absolutely sucked in this stupid movie.

  whats with the plot of this yawner,its been done a bit too much.she was terrible and gene hackman must have needed the money when he signed on to do this groaner..just my opinion and we all know what they about opinions...they are just like assholes, we all have them and they all stink...

  Thank you Tatiana! Yes that was it. George Clooney is a cutie but that movie was terrible. The one song he sings isn't too bad but everything else is just awful. This girl I work with brought the soundtrack in to play it and I didn't know it was the soundtrack. I started hearing this music and I said What is that horrible stuff it sounds like that crap from that movie and she started laughing because she said man you must have really hated it because that is the soundtrack. I left the room because I couldn't bare to hear the music.

  Shunning my Family

  my cousins daughter was over visiting me this year and she pointed out something that i never would have thought.

  she noticed how quiet i was around my family and asked if it was because they were jw`s.

  i thought about it and i said yes it was!.

  I really don't shun anyone, but I find that I don't want to get together with the two sisters that I use to get together with. It's really not on purpose and when I see them I talk and stuff, but I just feel awkward. I really can't explain it. They are so absorbed in "The LIE" and I want to get away from it, so it's like I'm repelled in an odd way. Not on purpose but almost sub-concious like.

  Popeye with Robin Williams is the worst movie I've ever seen. In fact I grade how bad a movie was by this movie. Recently I wathched the movie with the guy from ER (my mind is certainly going...yes I do suffer with C.R.S. syndrome) He is good looking not on it anymore. Anyway the song from the movie won an award recently. It was set back in like the 1800 and they were convicts and he was trying to get to his family the music was just horrible old time gospel like whining southern type music throughout the whole movie. Just horrible and I think perhaps this movie ranks right up there with popeye.

  Joe all I can say is do some research. Really study the bible without any literature of any kind, let it speak for itselft as that is why it was written in the first place. You may find scriptures that you never new were there. But in all due respect if your happy being a witness more power to ya. As long as you accept Jesus Christ as your saviour, by the grace of god you will be forgiven and you will receive eternal life, although it might not be what you think!! Again do some studying you may be suprised

  Downsizing Rumor is Confirmed

  got more information recently.. brooklyn bethel is downsizing , bigtime.. first, they are moving a lot of printing out of brooklyn.

  and into "regional" branches, perhaps closer to where.

  the material is distributed.

  It cost more than 90.00 per month, don't they pay for health benefits too? By the time you figure housing Utilities, food etc. it can get expensive.

  The Memorial has just Started

  well, it's almost 7pm in sydney australia and no doubt some congregations would be starting their memorials very soon, if not already.

  due to the overcast conditions, i can't see the moon, but one of the special things about this time of the year is seeing the full moon, which reminds me of the specialness of the memorial ritual held for me as i was growing up.. this is the second time in my entire life that i will be absent from the memorial.

  it was strange last year to be not attending for the first time ever, but this year i feel more comfortable about it.. i'm not sure why.
