i am a dfshipped person who is working towards reinstatement.. i would like to meet anyone else who also would like to return.. i really would prefer not to meet people who want to criticize my desire to return.

i would like to enjoy and offer encouragemnt to others like me.

Thank you for recognizing my intent. I appreciate that. As I think you can see, there are many here that probably will not go back, and in that sense some of us are not "like minded." However, most of us try to be civil and give good advice as best we can. As in any situation, where many people give opinions, you can take what you like and leave the rest behind. One advantage here is that you can express any idea or concern you have and do it with no fear of retribution.

If this was covered under your Blue Cross program, we would charge you for all this advice. :):):)

when reading the new world translation i used to sometimes think, who translated this gobbledygook?..

i just read another passage where the nwt manages to slaughter the english language.. acts 21:30 .

nwt ...., and a running together of the people occurred:.... kjv ..., and the people ran together:.... niv ..., and the people came running from all directions.. this is an excerpt from the foreword of the nwt; it is a very responsible thing to translate the holy scriptures........into modern speech.

In the forward of the NWT they should put the following, "This version of the Bible was put together by people who never went to college and learned some Greek and Hebrew in between meetings and field service."

What does Israel have to do with anything? I'm not part of old Israel, our your hypothesized new Israel. I am not rejecting "truth" when it comes to you. I am rejecting falsehood and hate.

Your misapplication of the scriptures in Mark and Luke shows the shallow, sloppy uninspired work that you do and the evil words that it leads you to speak. All these scriptures had to do with harmful groups, where Jesus stated specic behavioral examples of their immorality. Since you know nothing about our behavior and can not cite behavioral examples, this simply means that your words are nothing but crude, uneducated slander, and a not so artful dodge on your part to avoid answering simple questions.

Well, that was quite a rant against me. You said that I was insincere, I lacked honor, that people should stay clear of me, that I was dishonorable, was wicked and an offspring of vipers. I wanted to summarize, just in case any readers missed anything. I guess you saying it makes it true. Sure convinced me what a nogoodnick I really am. Oh, I forgot two. Being wicked I will send out wicked things and will be condemned. I think I captured the spirit of your message. How, loving and Christlike.

My quote about not looking for info: you said "It just slipped out, didn't it?" Boy, your steel trapped mind caught me again. Fact is, I am not here to promote my beliefs, never have, never will. However, it you want to promote yours, I think I have a right as a thinking person to ask legitamate questions that logicaly flow from your conclusions. You know, there are over 500 hundred people who are registered to post here, and probably hundreds of others who stop by to read. What a wonderful opportuity for you to answer some questions from a low life like me and prove victorious. It would certainly help your cause.

I believe the reason you won't answer is because you can't. As a self proclaimed prophet, it is much better for you to keep pronouncements shrouded in mystery and ambiguity. The more ambiguous the "prophesy" the more any events can be used, after the fact, to prove the correctness of the original proclaimation.

Rutherford stated that the scripture about many "running to and fro" predicted modern train transportation. I think it predicted the running up and down the court in modern basketball. That makes as much sense to me. Neither one can be proved or disproved, and both look just as foolish to the rational (not evil) people who disblieve it.

NEW RELIGION! NEED INPUT!

this is sort of a take-off of the "what should the wt do" thread.. i need to get together a board of directors and elect a president and officers.

we need to figure out a doctrine, a manifesto, and a set of disciplinary rules.

we need to figure out a way to fund our new movement.

Thank you for your vote of confidence. I will be working on those doctrinal issues both day and night.

I have been thinking about another doctrine. You know, most religions don't have an official sport. Only one I know of is the Catholics, who have football. They have Notre Dame, and some minor league teams like the Univerity of Detroit, Xavier, and the University of Dayton. That's nice and all, but they have no scriptural proof. We, however, have proof for our favorite past time of baseball, because in Gen. 1:1 it says, "IN THE BIG INNING", so this summer break out the brewski's and enjoy! Hey religion doesn't have to be all solemn and all, especially when you have scriptural proof!

Look at the progress we have made in such a short period of time. We have the end of the world WAY out there somewhere, we have naked baptisms, and baseball. It doesn't get much better than that.....and....it's gonna get a whole lot better!

You asked if I was looking for information that I would like to know. No, I'm not. In your zeal for what you believe, you have to remember that other people simply don't share it. One thing you should have learned from the WT training, is "how to overcome objections", and I think you well know that a torrent of scriptures and insults following questions simply doesn't work.
