  A second chance at life :)

  firstly, i'd like to say..... i got the all clear!!!!!!!

  for those of you who didn't know, i have been tested for the spread of my cancer to my glands.

  i had a lump underneath my arm which had to be removed.

  I'm going to attempt to put a different slant on this than some of the others.

  1. You have done nothing wrong

  2. I am a firm believer that the rules should apply to everyone equally.

  3. If they should refuse to speak to you, so be it, don't speak to them. This will make them somewhat uncomfortable but they are the ones who started this nonsense.

  4. Go and give everyone your beautiful smile and show them how happy you are.

  5. Remember, you can't do a whole lot about their behavior, but it is their actions that will be viewed as odd and silly, not yours. Bill

  Wishing you the best on your upcoming surgery. If they poke holes in you, as they did in me, it really isn't all that bad. The worst part was when the older nurse was instructing the younger one on the proper proceedure for pulling a cathether out of a male, me. Wish they had used someone else as a training device.

  50 Lambs Have Arrived Today, We're Gonna Get Em!

  here in the dallas area, we now have 50 stuffed lambs that will be distributed to k.h.

  i just got home fron visiting my relatives in coarsgold.

  just outside od yosemite.

  my uncle kinder is an elder in the local congregation there and my aunt and he hold out hope that i will come back to the flock some day.

  he exploded and said that he can't stand people that talk bad about Witnesses. My mistake, and I feel bad.

  The Witnesses think it is ok to trash other religions but their own is off limits because they "have the truth." Talk about your basic hypocrisy, this takes the cake. On the other hand, your uncle may have "exploded" because hearing the real truth can hurt. Either way he knows something is dredfully wrong with the WTS.

  imagine yourself married to a mate that is hypocritical, would tell you to die if you needed blood to stay alive, would tell you to shut up and get over the sexual abuse of your child at the hands of his friend or relative, would cut off your family ties to relatives that fell in bad grace with him, and made you feel constantly shame, guilt and fear keeping you perpetually depressed.

  as hard as it is to imagine this, jws are married to a publishing company that does this and many other injustices all in the name of god.

  I dont think I can take it anymore

  i have only posted a few times so far, and i dont want to sound like a constant complainer or whiner, but i really need someone to talk to and some feed back.

  we used to go to the elders with problems, and i have turned and leaned on you all now.

  first i would like to thank you all for your kind and caring feedback.. my daughter has broken my heart.

  One of the best things my daughter ever said to me was about a year after she left home to go to the big city. One evening she called and asked if I remembered all that stuff I had told her about the real world. I said yes and she says "well, it's all true." Hopefully when daughter has to deal with the harsh world she will come around. Meanwhile, be ready to pick her up. Bill

  Joanna, that stirred my emotions to the point it is extremely difficult to type. The young lady is extremely fortunate to have a friend like you. As far as getting a court order stopping the father from seeing the baby, I'm not sure that is possible, at least getting such an order would be difficult here in Texas.

  Eyegirl, I've known you were beautiful since we met in Dallas, now you are at the top of the beauty chart because you offered to take her in. That was a very unselfish act and if we should meet again I'll give you some yellow roses. Bill
