Is this Loaded Language in the 2011 Calendar?
by maninthemiddle ini think it could be fair to say, that if paul spoke for jesus, then "revealed truth" could be a valid description since the scriptures say he visited them several times, but i think the loaded language comes in when you try to apply this to modern times, (wts a modern paul?).
i see this as trying to mold the first century to fit the current wts/jws.
what do you think?.

Australian Convention Pioneer family Experience - We found our vegetables in the gutter..why do they wanna be Martyrs?
by Witness 007 ina couple years ago district convention - a pioneer family with two kids explained how they had ran out of funds and had no dinner...as they turned the corner out witnessing they saw a vegetable truck had spilled some produce in the gutter and so "jehovah provided in our time of need..." i felt like yelling get a job you bum stop starving!!
not encouraging.
this week an elder with pnemonia discharges himself from hospital, promising to remain home...so he can go out preaching!

I often chuckle about these experiences, not that they aren't or can't be true. Rather it is humorous how they don't realize how sad this makes the org. look. The congregation surely could see the need and provide enough to keep these ones from needing food from the gutter. They often use the excuse of not helping out in the community because of the higher benefit of providing the good news of the kingdom. But they do try to say that they look after their own. Ya right.

It Is WRONG To Make Threads About What The Watchtower Is Doing If You Do Not Have Facts To Back It Up!!!
by minimus ini think we should not make statements about what the watchtower society is secretly doing if we can not substantiate the statements.. we do not know if a "bethelite" is doing whatever he claims to be doing clandestinely.
when we make threads or statements about things we have absolutely no proof of, we are making ourselves look bad.. when impressionable people read these things, it sets our efforts back immensely.. please think about what you're doing.
it's counter-productive!.

pioneer-hours reduction could be having fulfillment now and circuit-overseer thingy could happen. even though armageddon is evidently coming tomorrow or the next day they still plan years in advance. look at the building projects. but I think the thingy that caused this post is quite different

Why hasn't Jehovah given the GB their "New System of things" manual yet?
by moshe ini never aked myself this when i was a jw, but i should have- just where is that manual the elders will need to run the new system of things at anyway?
we can't wait until armageddon arrives to print it- the wt presses will be shut down by the evil governments by then!
they have to have it ready and distributed to the kh's ahead of time.

Can anyone ask to see the congregation or assembly accounts report?
by ThomasCovenant infrom memory once a month someone would read out the accounts report from the platform.
this usually said how much went in, how much went out and what the balance was.
details were given as to utility bills etc.. at circuit and district assemblies no details were given, apart from the fact that we were always in a deficit by the sunday lunchtime.. has anyone asked or can anyone ask to see the details?

Funny story and the point in Blondie's last post about the same person not doing consecutive reports is interesting. I was slowly diminished in my "privileges" (helping at mag counter, reading tower and even bookstudy as my hours were considered to low. But, and I think it is a big but, I was asked to audit the accounts. It was a real pain if you took it seriously and went through all the receipts etc. which is why it was hard to get ones to do it and why even though I was censured regarding the other "privileges" I was still asked by the PO (yes it was still PO) to do it. It just shows the stupidity of all the rules and bull. Because the other "privileges" if given could "stumble" some poor hypocritical soul nada. But auditing the accounts was not something that others new the details of so I was good enough for that.

Yes. Mp3 files are audio. You can play them with various programs on the computer or cd, mp3 players etc. But I find it a poor choice especially for a whole book. Check it out. click the link.
