  Now I am back to thinking this whole dvd thingy is a hoax. I can now see clearly that one cedars created this animated dvd as a parody to make the society look like fools.

  After seeing Sparlock movie

  today i had some time to see the sparlock movie.. first at all i want to thank my jw parents for giving me a free youth within the jw belief.

  i was gifted with a great fantasy.

  i played daily characters like tank general (on my bike), secret service employee (behind the couch), the family wizard (with tricks) and soldier... my parents knew it, and loved it.. this dvd is not representative of all jw family's!.

  @ Gorbatchov - How wonderful if more could follow that course. And yes I new ones from both camps (so to speak) when I was in. My kids were not pushed or worse forced to get baptized and that worked out for the best for both them and us.

  Just a question for Gorbatchof - Would you characterize your parents as "strict" jw's. It is true in my experience/opinion that what you write is true in many a jw household. It's like jw parents that took any socializing with the "world" for themselves or their kids really serious or not. For the ones that take the bull real serious these stupid video's will be a pain for the kids. BUT i really think the big hoopla that they are receiving is how stupid they are. And how they once again make the org look like dunces. We want to discourage magic toys so what we will do is create one. Smart, real smart.

  hey peeps,.

  it's been a long while since i've posted (i am completely out - wife and kids still in) but thought you might this interesting.. they came home from the district convention yesterday with the new dvd intended for kids.

  they popped it in right away and this is what happens:.

  I am pretty sure it is the last talk on Saturday. They announce that it will be downloadable from JW org after december. And the say that as further of these are produced they to will become available there.

  so we all know that the blotchtower and awake are becoming 16 page mags.

  yes, they are becoming the "weetower" and the "halfasleep".. they are moving some articles over to jw.org and i have a few reasons why i think they are doing this:.

  do you guys think that the gb actually believes the garbage that they print?

  how could they actually believe their new "overlapping generation" doctrine?

  wouldn't they have access to anything ever printed and have knowledge of all the false prophecy?

  I didn't read every comment thouroughly, but, if the gb believed it all - there would be no new light. New light shines forth (cough, cough) only when they come to see the current light is wrong. And now the new light is so poor that it is suspect almost as soon as it comes out.
