i was watching the cnn this evening..watched hilliary clinton walk towards some dignataries in a foreign land.

i saw that she was well dressed in a pant suit.

she is the us secretary of state, and what she wore was dignified.

What do the Pioneer's say when they leave my house?

i've always wondered what they must say when they leave my house.

i did a bible study for a while and of course, at christmas i had a big tree and all the trimmings.

i have some nude sculptures in my house and angel sculptures on my lawn, plus lots of religious shrines around my house that my friend who is an artist makes and gives to me.

Wow....Budha in the living room.....I would only think that, but wouldn't say it.

If the statues tend to move frequently in your home, they may say, "Wonder who we are going to see next week".

You do get used to it. Most are very appreciative of the hospitality that is shown to us, especially on a day of inclement weather. Usually we walked away talking about good things about the home, and discussed what we would say the next time we came back

We have so much talented people here. I have enjoyed your poetry, and attempts.

The first one, of course is fiction. Not everyone who marries an unbeliever ends up with that outcome. I have seen many failed marriages in the faith, as well as outside. Marriage is always a work in progress.

I always said, "wonder what she'll say when we get to that chapter". Once we went to a guy's house who had a poster of a nude woman.

We went to that chapter right away....he didn't like it, when we cast a bad light on displaying that on his wall. He was ok, about it...but he never did join. When we walked away, we said, "was, he ever mad, at us".

Stupid Rule: "Necessary Business" Is Acceptable With Disfellowshipped Family Members....

and if you live with them, you can carry on in a somewhat "normal" relationship but if they move out, you must treat them like shit..

That's interesting "Necessary Business" not scriptural, but a gift from the GB. The word Pioneer, is not scriptural. The 10 hrs a month rule, is not scriptual. The 4 hour meetings a week, are not scriptural. I guess we have a lot of unscriptural things.

Isn't it interesting that they haven't commented on that subject when discussing features of the annual meeting highlights in the Watchtower article.

I was watching the CNN this evening..watched Hilliary Clinton walk towards some dignataries in a foreign land. I saw that she was well dressed in a Pant Suit. She is the US Secretary Of State, and what she wore was dignified. So why on earth does the ORG still insist on Sisters wearing dresses or skirts? Do you think that we will ever see a day when sisters will be free to do this?
